oh my god ignorance alert, you ever heard of neurotransmitters?
He's still technically true, if you get a placebo effect that's as good as the actual normal effect (assuming you know what it's normally like/have tried it before) then what's the harm, in effect you've then got a 'drug' with no ill side effects and even if the effect is faked by your mind, it's still there.
Too bad you have to be using stereo headphones for it to work.
What makes you say that? I have a really nice set of speakers with the appropriate frequency response, which also happen to be stereo. I don't see what difference the placement of the source of the sound would make. [editline]20th April 2011[/editline] If you meditate on the sounds, I honestly think there's something there.
You don't have to buy them. Me and my bro downloaded them all for free :/
I'd imagine they'd be pretty intense to listen to while on DXM or something like that. Just me though.
Yes. It does not work. You're welcome.
I suppose it's different for everyone [editline]21st April 2011[/editline] Wow I just did one for around 10minutes (The "Quick hit weed) When the pitch changed I started panicing I'm still a bit shaky... and I my vision was black for around 30 seconds. I wasn't expecting a high either. I felt so heavy I couldn't move in some parts of my body to turn off the video, so I ripped my headphones off (In panic). Wow man. That's crazy. Try it for yourself. Don't think about getting an effect, indulge in the sounds... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIhI5Y-X4LU

My friend once made me try this. It felt like shit yo.
Works for me, dunno if it's the headphones. I never get the "expected effects" though. They usually say, "extreme feeling or euphoria" or some shit like that, instead I get a little happy, and really calm and content. The dream beats are the only ones that actually do what they're supposed to, I did the dream one last night and I remembered two full dreams (I have a huge problem remembering my dreams, usually remember none or only one emotion or feeling). Which is sweet cause I'm trying to get my dream recall up for lucid dreaming. If it's real, it might depend on the person. If it's a placebo, then it works anyway, but only if you want it to.
I've never heard of i-doser so i don't know the validity of it, but i know for a fact binaural beats work. Definately not to get you high though. When it accompanies a good hypnotist it is superbly effective.
i tried most of them and all they did was make my head ache or put me to sleep
