If they have a search warrant, then the ISP has to give it to them. Hopefully the guy wasn't behind proxies.

When this kind of threat has come out before, they normally send a few officers to the school just to make sure nothing happens.

All I'm saying is how is he going to get those bars/chains into the school and place them on all the doors without being seen and questioned before he is able to do anything major? This kid is taking you guys for a ride. He obviously just wants some attention.

A guy did this at /b/ last week here in Sweden. He said he was going to take his gun and go to his university (KTH) and shoot people and then himself. The Swedish police force sent 50 cops to the university, called for help from FBI and tracked him down. 4chan is not anonymous after all

Also, I used to be admin on a San Andreas Multiplayer server and some guy admitted to growing weed in his back yard, so I got his IP, traced it and emailed his local cops. The Sergeant there emailed back saying it'd be dealt with. Last week I got told the guy I reported was in custody for cultivating marijuana.
