I feel sorry for the generations following mine. While good shows come & go, it seems like Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and the like was pretty much the greatest era in Cartoon Network history (if not the greatest in modern television history). For whatever reason they cancelled it, it wasn't good enough. I go on YouTube and watch intros & episodes of all the shows I grew up on, then look at the majority of new ones, and I can't help but think, "Why couldn't it last longer?"
Nowadays good shows are few & far between, and even if they are good, you can almost guarantee that studios will cancel it before its third season just to replace it with some shitty teen drama or future cyborg teen-related action show. I'm still a teen, and this shit just [B]doesn't appeal to me[/B]. As a matter of fact, how can anyone consider a show like 6teen or the (thankfully done) Out of Jimmy's Head better than motherfucking [I]Courage the Cowardly Dog?[/I] I feel sorry for the kids now, growing up on this shit. I can guarantee that when I have kids they will be watching DVD boxsets & recordings of Courage, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, Sheep in the Big City, and all the other great programs that made CN the [B][I][U]best damn network ever.[/U][/I][/B]

DISREGARD FIRST POST
Since I live in Australia, CN was te bomb before they got rid of [Adult Swim] and Fridays, the .com pick as a kid was like a wish, jump on and vote, when they changed to the city theme I was like "cool design" but the old logo suited the network more.
In Australia we get, NO CN REAL, NO LIVE ACTION CRAP (All goes on boomer rang) AND all old shows are still repeating on CN!
The new logo + bumpers make me really happy to see the checkers again, god I thought I would never see them again! Now it's back and I'm happy :)
But anyway their shows are still crap but I can hope to see that live action will be gone and cartoons cartoons come back and make CN the network it was!
You would at least expect something after "Next!", but no, you get a "Later!"...
...(only) On Cartoon network!
They really destroyed my childhood's favorite channel. :sadface:
I recently got the complete series of Samurai Jack episodes, I love that show more and more ever day.

The best thing is that my cable provider removed CN right when it started going downhill.
I started to dislike Cartoon Network after shows like Courage The Cowardly Dog and Johnny Bravo got canceled. I finally moved on after a full-on rage when I heard Ed Edd and Eddy got canceled, WITHOUT showing the final episode that branched it all together. Now it seems like everything good in the channel is gone.
