Interesting, 2011 Citroen C1 1L VT. £1,600 fully comp in my name with LV and that's even before I phone them up. Could get a new C1 on finance with the servicing and warranty sorted for the period of said finance.
They'll be begging you at the dealership to take a 61 Plate pre-reg. I think there is quite a bargain afoot...
Too bad it was only in a straight line race.....
Yeah... Im sure a...... fwd civic with turbo lag. could really out handle a rwd car in the corners getaloadofthisguy
From the LMAO pics :v:
Yeah... Im sure a lightweight fwd Civic with modern suspension and steering plus a short wheelbase. could really out handle a big, heavy, old, American rwd car in the corners. You're probably right
Fixed that for you.
but the real reason american cars cant turn is because they can actually get over a speed of 90 so they have to slow down, where as all the jap scrap cars are already going slow enough to just turn. come at me wapanbros. :zoid:
Them silly little 4 pots with their Toyota engines
But Hektik skids > turning Emailed the guy, mustang ii is still for sale, hopefully going to go see it this weekend. Would be p cool to build up the v6 so it has some powaah. Then someday a 351 swap just for bradleykins
Did I ever mention I found a destroyed 76 Mustang 2 in the woods? Good times
me and my freind found a someyear celica that was twisted in half in the middle of the woods once :v: i stole a headlight bulb and some emblem but i think i lost them both.
Same scenario, the only difference this time is the car! I'm really liking LV, they're offering decent prices! Admiral didn't give me an decent quote.
How old are you two?
I'm 18.
That's not bad to be honest, considering most of you young whippersnappers seem to be paying at least twice that on average I'd go with LV. I thought insurance was pricey when I passed, was 17 and paid £1500 fully comp on a 1.4 Vauxhall Corsa but it's mad these days, fuck knows how you're supposed to pay the premiums they're asking.
On LV I put my dad down as a named driver and it cut a few hundred off (Me being the main, daily, driver). Yet if I made him the main driver it added nearly £600 on. I'm guessing it is because he is a self-employed music teacher and I'm a full time employed web programmer. Random number generator would be more accurate :v: I agree like, LV has given me my cheapest yet. Could easily get another £200 off by talking them down. Or even using the LV quote to try get a competitor to match or beat it.
Sorry to drop in uninvited, but this seemed the right place to post a car insurance commercial I really liked.

When I looked at being the secondary driver on my Mums '09 1.1, it added £1000 to hers? :/

Dear God, ever since getting my little S10, I've been looking at sticking with trucks. An imported '93 Hilux is $13000 (Egad) and Tacomas are almost as expensive (96 is around 7k-10k on average, 2002 is around 10k-13k, 2006+ is 15k+) My '96 S10 was only $3100... but I want a Tacoma D:
tacomas are expensive because they are rare. There was a MASSIVE recall on a lot of tacomas up to 2002 IIRC, because the chassis would rot and it would become dangerous. Toyota did two thing: they bough back the trucks from the customer for a HUGE amount if the truck was still good, they would rebuild it for free. That,s why they are rare and expensive

recommend shop to friends get work done for free yesssssssssssssssssssssss
Alright, what do you guys think of Oldsmobiles? I saw this: http://richmond.craigslist.org/cto/2805321503.html Its hard to find different cars in my price range (preferably under $2k). I hate going to school (12th Grade) and being around town and seeing shit tons of people my age driving old civics and tauruses and cherokees. So anything different is cool to me, plus look at those door handles. I also don't have any idea how much fixing the EGR Valve or a coolant temp sensor would cost.
Debating buying a clean, well-maintained 2000 540i with the six speed stick. Thoughts? Fuck fuel economy.
Debating buying a clean, well-maintained 2000 540i with the six speed stick. Thoughts? Fuck fuel economy.
Depending on price of parts in your area for it, go for it. Maintenance might be expensive though and yeah, fuel economy.
