Need opinions on a stupid sitch I'm in at the minute. Friend of mine and I were talking about cars and what we're planning on buying next, I answer first and say the MR2 and he goes into shock and starts saying "You can't get one of those, I've wanted one for ages!"... At this point I realise he's being 100% serious. I've wanted one for quiet a while and even more so now I've found out insurance isn't too bad. Only difference is that I have the money to buy one now and he doesn't, he's genuinely got shitty with me because I'm going to buy one before him. I don't know whether to laugh at him some more or sympathise. Anyone ever heard of anything like it before? We're both 21 by the way, not 6. It's gotta be the screw that locks the plate in place which goes under the door, try and spray a bit of wd-40 in there if you can and leave it a couple of minutes before trying again. Keep the door open to keep any pressure off it too.

went to the bank today and deposited my last 3 months worth of paychecks. I forgot about them... my employer was not happy.

Alright, so I ended up going for a 3 hour drive around my city with some friends. We went through McDonald's drive-thru twice haha, it was epic. My cousin got his driving licence and the same day went out to celebrate with friends in his car, got drunk, wrote it off and lost his licence. Luckily he and his friends were unharmed. He learnt his lesson.

Golden rule being; Time and place for everything. Dont fucking rip the ebrake around a blind corner, dont go hooning about an unfamiliar road until you know where the dips and potholes are, and always be sure to burn some rubber when on a back road. Driving will be awesome for like two weeks. Then you'll get bored of it unless you have a fun car to drive.

I've been driving alone for about 7 months now and i still find it fun. Even with a 1.0L engine.

Almost a year now and I still enjoy it, I don't exactly drive a hot hatch either :v:
