I've dodged one of those myself. Was working security detail at a hospital during a hurricane. Went outside to secure a few loose items. The winds come in, snap a line and out goes the transformer. Needless to say, I've never hit the ground so fast or so hard before lol

That happened to me at the backyard of my last apartment. I was on my computer as usual in my room and all I kept hearing that night was popping, the popping started getting louder then I was like WOAH I BETTER INVESTIGATE THAT! So I went outside to the back of my apartment and Looked up towards my side of the apartment building of where I live, and suddenly this transformer I've never notice before just fucking explodes right fucking above me and I literally go WOOOOAOOOAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! HOLY SHIT! I swear I got so startled by it because it was so loud and I was very confused about what was going on and then my electricity just fucking goes out for a day and a half.
