Dude that's reverse logic, heavyweights need LESS time before a ref steps in. They do far more damage to eachother in a single blow than someone in a lighter weight class does. This is same reason why so many heavyweight boxers are wrecks by the time they retire. They can't take "more shots" on average, being heavier doesn't make your brain stronger.

Brock moved every single time the ref asked him to.

I really hope this isn't a commonly held belief that heavyweights can and should "bang on longer" than people in lighter weight classes.
fuck yeah lesnar, I had a feeling he would win. I was upset that Pellegrino lost though.

Being heavy doesn't automatically mean you have a chin. What I was saying though that the Nevada Athletic Commission refs give clear instructions before fights and they're not necessarily the same each time (a lot of the instructions change based on known toughness of the fighters). Lesnar and Rosenthal both confirmed that they discussed what would happen if either of them were on the ground getting pounded. The referee clearly said he would stop the fight as soon as the downed fighter did not answers his order to significantly move. Brock answered each order except for one where he was unable to due to his position, but he started throwing punches to show he was still well. I think if Carwin was in the same position he would've answered as well. It was close, and Carwin doesn't drop very far on the rankings for me at all. Carwin has the most dangerous striking in the HW division and I think he should be considered for another title shot very shortly after Cain gets his. Again, I hope I don't come across as a Lesnar super-fan because I'm not. I'm just an MMA fan.
fair enough
fuck Lesnar.
What a great night of fights
