The comic is much more gruesome, instead of [sp]getting burned on a chair[/sp] he gets [sp]shot with a gun to the head infront of his daughter.[/sp]
The Kick Ass 2 comic is more violent than the first, and more heartbreaking. I'm curious to see how the movie deals with that.
don't forget how it starts off with dave getting zapped in the nuts
Col. Stars and Stripes best hero? Best hero.
I wish Hit Girl was still a kid. She was my favorite Child Actor in a Film.
Oh man it's Jim Carry
didn't even recognize him
I guess covering your eyes really does work
Well it was a mix of covering his eyes and doing some voice acting too. Normally Jim Carrey uses his normal voice for all his roles so I really didn't even notice it was him.
I really hope this isn't as edgy as the Kick-Ass 2 comic. The first film solved a lot of issues in the comic in that respect. Spoilers for both films and comics below.
[sp]Why the fuck do all the best characters with the best actors die? Nic Cage was the best part of 1 and Jim Carrey looks to be the best part of this one.[/sp]
That green screening looked awful.
Just to be clear, Jim Carrey doesn't use his voice, right? Because before someone mentioned it I didn't recognize him.

I think he's doing something funky with his voice. Something voice actors normally do, though jim carrey usually uses his own voice for his roles.
I still can't forget this scene from the first movie

I'm glad they're making a sequel
Dear god Christopher Mintz-Plasse has facial hair.
Looks fun, but I personally can't stand it when a small girl can beat the crap out of a grown, trained and armed man in movies. Whatever, it's just a film but I can't suspend my disbelief.
but she has guns and knives

Most of the time the guys aren't overly trained and Hit Girl was trained through her entire childhood and probably trained herself through the starting of puberty (where learning shit REALLY counts)
I mean you still gotta suspend your disbelief a little but it isn't all that far from reality, maybe. if you squint a little and cover your ears and go 'lalalalala'

I did that for the first one but I got kicked out of the cinema.
Hopefully they limit the action sequences to a reasonable level.
Instead of Nicolas Cage we get Jim Carrey. Not a bad switch.
jim carrey is still the best physical actor
Nicholas Cage made that chair scene gold with his shitty acting.
This trailer made it seem somewhat more innocent, is there anymore clips?
Why does this remind me of Watchmen?

experience can overpower strength
It had a track from the Dredd soundtrack in the end, I hope they include more in the actual movie
This looks amazing, I love when Jim Carrey says " there's a dog on your balls"
I just hope they don't change it majorly, I prefer the first one's ending in the comic where [sp] Katie doesn't go out with him and gets a guy to beat him up for pretending to be gay[/sp] it's more realistic.
The green screen better be fixed, because it looks like shit.
Wait what, did I hear part of the soundtrack from Dredd?

That was just horse shit. [sp] Sure, its more realistic in a story about a kid fighting a mob with a batman type hero and his daughter super hero. Its just that that ending ruined the feel good moment. The overall message was soured when that happened. [/sp]

what
cage was awesome in the first film
Will they do the gang rape scene with Katie, and the kids getting shot? Also don't expect much out of Jim Carrey, his character won't last long.

All the people I know that have read the comic let out an "aw" when it showed [sp]Dave's dad talking to him in the prison[/sp] just because of... well, you know what happens.
