Not even that, just people who were born in '98 and call themselves 90's kids. You have to remember the 90's to be a 90's kid.
I think it's hilarious when my sister (who was born in '99) calls herself a 90's kid.
And no true Scotsman eats his porridge with sugar.
I don't really think that meets the criteria for the fallacy.

It would be if they said no true 90s kid doesn't like Sonic.
I remember playing super mario on snes at my friend's house all the time.
95 here, can still remember a lot of 90's stuff though
probably because my family was poor as fuck so we played with old shit
I sense a lack of fanny packs

I disagree. It seems, to me at least, that they were essentially saying "no true 90's kid doesn't remember growing up in the 90's."
Does it matter if a person grew up in the 90's? Do you have to have been a child during the 90's to truly love the culture?
I hate when kids born from 96 to 99 consider themselves "90s kidz xDdxdx" Bitch, I doubt you remember shit from when you were four, calm the fuck down.
Early 96, and I remember tons of shit.

Does anyone remember those baton toy things that made a weird sound when you flipped it? I can't remember, well, I don't think I ever knew, what they're called.
Woah, I didn't realise almost all of the stuff I played with were from the 90s. I guess I can thank my bigbrother and sisters for that.
I'm 96 myself.
Damn, I remember all of that
All of it
But no mention of the power rangers? The fuck, man
That little device making those sounds near the end, I remember those sounds so clearly but I don't remember what made them, laser gun toy maybe? I don't know
I remember the noises in Toy Story. I don't know what the actual device is/was, but I do recall hearing those exact same noises for the action figure(s) in Toy Story (Buzz Lightyear?).
I was born in 92' and I still remember all of this; I even still have my pogs and such sitting in my tub of memories n' stuff.

Actually now that you mention it, I had this Buzz Lightyear arm I got from Toy Story on Ice and I think it made one or all of those noises. Still sounds like it could of been from something else
This video made me cry
the pogs fad never ever made it to my school
so like what do you do with those cardboard disks
'93, and I have a pretty decent memory of the later '90s. I remember quite a bit from my 4th birthday onwards, so I at least got to experience a few years of it.
I'm very early '97 (january). I remember very little of my life between then and 2000, so I'll just be a 90's toddler I guess

i was born in 1988, and missing the 90's already... when things was hip back then and life was great when I was a kid. it makes you want to look at your old past VCR tapes and if you still have a VCR player, to play those old pokemon shows, the old scooby doo shows, space ghost, and everything that i used to watch and play back then.

I was born in 97, but I watched/played with a lot of things from the 90s when I was a little kid since my parents were cheap and only bought old stuff.
91. I don't remember some of the stuff I feel like I should in order to be a true "90's kid", but I'm not sure if that's because I was born in 91 or because I was sheltered as fuck.
Actually, I'm gonna go with sheltered as fuck.

To be a 90's kid, you do, in fact, have to have been a kid in the 90's.
It's kind of in the name.
