You believe I am beguiling you with my banter, or that I have burgled it from another being? A breezy belief but bogus to even begin to believe.
Forget the foolish oaf, for he has failed in his fatheaded attempt to flummox the fine folk of Facepunch.
OP, you're dreaming right now, as you read this. This is a dream, eventually you will wake up and go on Facepunch, then make a thread about your future telling dreams, I will then post this, and you will then realize you are dreaming, and then notice I just stuck you into an infinite time-loop of waking up after dreaming the future, posting, being told your dreaming, waking up, and so on and so forth.

Hey OP, am I gonna win the lottery?
Can you prove you dreamed this? Did you write it down in a diary? Because what's more likely is you're experiencing déjà vu and attributing it falsely to a dream you erroneously believe you have.
Yeah, I get deja vu a lot too. Except I don't really remember the moment that happens from a dream. I just know I've seen it before. It's weird and hard to explain.
Dream about the lottery please.
Do you keep a dream diary or anything? I find it hard to believe when it could just be that you had a dream about playing video games and your brain tried to make a connection and filled in blanks that never really happened in the dream.
I've had 8 Deja Vu dreams about video games. I need a fucking life.
I know not all of you are going to believe me and hell I wouldnt believe myself if I told myself about it. I am a man of science and i am yet to make heads or tails of this. Basically I have dreamt the future at least 2 times, and I am not sure how many more times I have as I dont realise untill it happens. What will happen is I will have a regular dream, nothing special maybe im at some place doing something then later on, even months later it happens in reality, and only at the exact moment that everything "lines" up do i realise that I dreamt it. The first time it happened to me sacared the shit out of me. I had just started a IT course at Tafe and was in one of my new rooms, the class went on for a while and the teacher went on about the course and so on, then she said she had some paperwork for us and proceeded to hand out some sheets of paper, thats when it happened I was filled with dread over something so trivial but I then realised that everything, the layout of the room the clothes and faces of people i had never met, the teacher how and where she was standing the seating order EVERYTHING was exact, I then got a txt from my girlfriend at the time (now my ex) which made me nearly fall out of the chair, so I just grabbed my things and left the room right there and then. The Second time (about 1 year later) happened today, I was having a lan with my friend and we just got gears of war up and running, we were playing for a while and just then it happened again, EVERYTHING the clothes we were wearing the layout of the pcs, the map in which we were playing (I had never played the map before today) the conversation we were having everything was an exact recount of a dream I had a few months ago. I wasnt scared this time I just sat back in my chair and staired thinking about what just happened, every little feeling was a copy of the dream. Now, my problem is... this is impossible. This cant possibly happen, but it does and its never anything important, never a huge disaster or someone close dying, something I would want to prevent or could watch out for, its always mundane little things that dont make sense, why would I be dreaming these things? is something happening that im not aware of but will realise later on? i just dont know. But I would like to know if anyone else has heard of this shit or had it happen to them. Its never anything important and for all I know I might have already had another dream that will come true but I havent realised. The dreams are very vivd so maybe thats a clue? I really dont know. TLDR: I dream the future, its never anything important, read the fucking op lazy.
Dude, the exact same is with me, i dream about the future, i dont remember it till i live it. And no its not Deja Vu, because its stuff i havent lived through before.
Make a dream log, write down everything you dream and then you can check if it was Dejavu or Paranormal powers

I have these dreams every once and a while
Go away OP nobody cares. (User was banned for this post ("Why reply?" - Greeman))
This happens to me every once in a while. I get this weird ass feeling that I've done it before.
Your not really dreaming the future... And isn't de ja vu actually your brain repeating something that's happened because your tired?
Your not really dreaming the future... And isn't de ja vu actually your brain repeating something that's happened because your tired?
wat Edit: No, seriously I don't understand what the fuck you're trying to tell us.
I have Deja Vus pretty often. About 2 years ago Deja Vus happened to me almost everyday, often in combination with short dizziness, sickness and heat from inside my body. Day for day, the feeling when getting in such a "seizure" got worse and worse. I had this for a few months.
I actually dream quite vividly about scenarios in my day to day life that I literally have trouble with the concept of time now.
Unless you keep a dream diary and a dream you wrote down matches the events of a day I'm calling it deja vu

Maybe your just denying it as Deja Vu because you think deja vu only applies to a "feeling" of being there. Well, you dreamt that same exact location and conversation and everything right? Then your in the moment and you realize that you dreamt it so it must be the future. Maybe since you remembered that you had the dream that you were doing exactly what you were doing in that dream, that what your doing now seems like it is the future. But really your just remembering that same feeling and everything so. It's still deja vu, so don't denying it.
I have these dreams all the time. They are always about insignificant things, and I only notice when it actually happens.
I had a dream that it wouldn't let me rate posts. And now it's true. [editline]11:11PM[/editline] And then a skeleton popped out.
It's called a Deja-Vu, it happens when some connections in your brain fuck up making you think that what you are experiencing now already happened, happens to everyone.
I once had a dream a large fire monster was chasing me through my house in the night, and a month later my house burned down :(
Why are you all being dicks?
It's called the internet. OP, this kind of stuff isn't exactly rare, and many times, it's just your head fucking around with you. It happens to pretty much everyone.
Once when I was like 12 or 13 I had a dream one night and told my friend about it in the morning. During late morning/early afternoon we were outside, mucking about, having fun, and the exact same thing that happened in my dream happened to me. Needless to say we were all pretty weirded out about it afterwards. I dunno how to explain it, though. I'm a man of science. I'm pursuing physics. I guess it was just sheer chance (however unlikely); that's the only reasonable way I can explain it. As with practically EVERYONE I've experienced déjà vu before, too. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the explanation for déjà vu is that the brain accidentally files incoming sensory information under long term memory as opposed to short term memory (dunno if it corrects the mistake afterwards) giving the weird feeling that it's happened before.
I keep dreaming of my past life...in japanese anime -_-'' I gotta get control of my mind.
Similar thing happened to me. I remember this one dream, when I was 6 where I went to this one place for a party or something. Another 4 years later and I go to a party for my 16 year old cousin and sure enough, it's the same building as in my dream. Hell, the party was even in the same room as my dream.
This happened to me for the longest time. I was a smart kid so I didn't think it was actually happening, I just thought it was Deja Vu and all that. So I started recording my dreams, the relevent ones at least, so that if it did happen again I would know I actually did dream it and it wasn't just Deja Vu. I found that a lot of the things I dreamed actually did end up happening. Certain stores opening in my town, school excursions to certain places, stuff like that. Nothing exciting but I thought it was cool none the less. Stopped happening after a while though, and now what I dream makes so little sense I don't even know what to think.
