Ah yes, that what it was, I thought I was losing my mind.
small thing to lose your mind over
I really liked what they did with the Lucas Lee battle. It was much better than the book, where he just went "Oh hey wait can you do a trick" right away.
But I'm glad they put that in the movie too because it was really cool.
I think you all have trouble reading because for one I don't particularly like or dislike it either way.
And I already commented on the second point.
Yes, you've made your view very clear. Only you've decided to force it upon the people in the thread instead of carrying on.
I just got back from watching it and I actually enjoyed it a lot. The trailer didn't do it any justice.
Heh, watching it the second time, I noticed more subtle things.
- Neil messing up the lyrics of Garbage Truck while singing along, then quickly correcting himself
- Ex fights 2, 3, and 4 all had their numbers somewhere on it.
- Lucas Lee's car in the background of the set had a 2 on it.
- Todd's shirt has a 3 on it, the less subtle one is that the trash cans that Scott gets thrown at in the beginning of the fight has the number 3 all around them
- The after party building has a large 4 above the entrance.
- "Under My Thumb" playing in Gideon's Limo. A fitting song.
I went and saw this movie expecting another "Michael Cera plays an awkward teenager who awkwardly woos a quirky girl then they awkwardly have sex." but I was wrong. Well not really. He still awkwardly woos a girl, but that movie was great. What made me like it even more was I have a bitch ex-girlfriend that changed her hair color frequently and had a long line of dudes she shattered the hearts of, including me. She even looks almost exactly like the girl from the movie, and their personalities are practically the same. It kind of depressed me that whole movie, but I definitely like the movie more for it.
Hello Scott Pilgrim.
Hello Scott Pilgrim.
Oh hi Mark
If he's Scott can I be Wallace? Movie is awesome by the way.

Hmmm... I don't believe you. You don't even have evidence.

By the way, that was a joke.
I can post a picture of her if you want. I am not even joking. My ex is a shorter version of Ramona. I got so creeped out watching the movie.

You know what to do...
Post it.
Saw it for the second time today.
To my surprise even though it was in the way back, with the crappy seats and projector, it was still full.

This.
Do it
Am I the only one that thinks Wallace is hot :3:
saw it last night, best michael cera movie ever.
[sp]I loved the dark/evil scott part, that was hilarious[/sp]

[sp]NEGA-SCOTT![/sp] I wanted him to actually fight him though... but it was funny so I wasn't too disappointed.
Just saw it again, I caught a lot of things I missed, such as the [sp]Numbers at essentially every EX fight[/sp]
I've seen so many people rate it one star
When has quality ever played a role in how much money a movie makes
Vampires Suck, the new film by the Epic Movie guys, is looking like it could end up with more money than Scott Pilgrim does for it's theatrical run. That's just not right at all
It really fucking blows that Edgar Wright's movies don't get really popular until after the DVD release. He's such a fantastic film-maker.

Yeah same here
EDIT: actually i shouldn't say quality doesn't play a role in how much money a movie makes. Usually something new and amazing keeps people coming back and telling others to see it, but that still doesn't happen as often as it should, like with any Wright film, which is total bullshit.
Oh God I just came back from this movie.
This movie has visual effects like I've never seen.

[sp]I loved the vegan police. The bass battle was probably one of the best parts of the whole movie.[/sp]
I will admit the [sp]Vegan police[/sp] part had me busting my sides, along with the [sp]nega-scott part. They have so much in common! Who knew?[/sp]
My favorite part had to be the one [sp]where he jumped through the window when Knives came to his house[/sp]
I just started reading the volumes (already on volume 4) and I love it. I wanna see the movie ASAP.
Argh so tempted to click the spoilers. Gotta see this soon!
The movie is amazing, everyone who hasn't seen it yet, go see it. I really want to read the graphic novels now.
guESS WHO'S DRUNK
Wallace
