Vampires Suck made about $12.2 million at the box office while Scott Pilgrim made $5 million (and Inception made $7.7 million.) Don't the audience ever fucking learn? It's like getting all hyped up for a Sonic game.
The world is FUCKING STUPID.

Their loss, really.
I think part of the reason would be that tons of people know about Twilight, and those that hate it (so much that they would be willing to endure a crappy parody movie) would be going to see Vampires Suck. That's a lot of people; likely much larger than the people who would be going to see Scott Pilgrim as a result of reading the books or seeing the trailers or something. And even then, Scott Pilgrim is kind of geared towards a more specific audience.
If that even made any sense.

Scratch that, as of August 1st, Inception made about $200,000,000.
Ive yet to see inception but i really want to
I want to go with my friends to see the movie again, but all they want to do is see Vampires Suck. Or The Expendables. I am furious right now.

The Expendables was terrible and I refuse to watch Vampires Suck.

Original is by a band called Metric, but the version in the movie (this version) has vocals by Brie Larson. In my opinion Larson's vocals fit the song better than the original's

Well let's face it - the target demographic (read: us) is pretty small.
[sp]I don't like how in the movie they made Todd seem a little less like an asshole with how he broke the vegan rules. In the graphic novel he just blatantly ate it knowing it's milk and eggs because "he's a rock star". You don't see that in the movie, though.[/sp]
I was very disappointed when they left out showing how Lucas was actually a pretty cool guy and gave Scott a break during the fight with Ritz crackers and baby carrots
Great movie though.

Oh no...."

I am fascinated by how badly this movie is tanking.
Oh my gosh, I didn't know anything about this movie when I went to see it, then [sp]when Knives asked Neil what he play and he said Zelda and Tetris[/sp] I knew I was going to love it.
Oh my oh my, this movie really hit the core of my being, great effects...
I loved the part when [sp]Scott and Ramona were in the crowd, and todd was playign on stage and it went back and forth on their faces[/sp] that was fucking epic. Fucking yes.
[editline]10:18PM[/editline]
Oh and when [sp] after Knives kissed scott and everyone was look at eachother and then Wallace looks at Scott's sister's boyfriend and he looked away[/sp] that was hilarious.
I was really not expecting much from this movie, and I was pleasantly surprised.
The style was cool, refreshing and not overdone. Michael Cera wasn't very annoying, he actually did a pretty good job, in my opinion. Then again, this is coming from someone who's never read the original comics.
Also, I play bass. The fact that there were bass battles were a definite bonus for me... The only good line was Todd's solo, though.
Damn it was bad, is it supposed to go under the skin of people? Like avatar or mw2?

shut your face Emily Haines is way better
From what I've seen so far, this movie is designed to appeal to awkward teens who've never had a pretty girlfriend due to social awkwardness.
