Damn it was bad, is it supposed to go under the skin of people? Like avatar or mw2?
I can't even fathom how awful this comparison is
Anybody getting the game off XBLA tomorrow?
Already got it off PSN. :buddy:
From what I've seen so far, this movie is designed to appeal to awkward teens who've never had a pretty girlfriend due to social awkwardness.
terrible assumption

What's so great about it? Is it really worth it?
Anybody getting the game off XBLA tomorrow?
i am.
Bought the graphic novel bundle and read through them all over three days. This rates second to Berserk on my favorites list. Bought the game and had a blast (Ramona's move set is the best imo). Music is outstanding. I rarely buy movies, but this will be a sure buy. [sp]Do the parts where Lucas grinds down the stair rail at over 300kph and Scott and Todd run through Honest Ed's[/sp] appear in the movie? Those were two of my favorite parts from the books.
good movie

Ramona is fucking hot.
Saw the movie. It was awesome. Sadly (well good for me, because I'm a poor bastard) the theater is discounting tickets to it by about 60% because they can't put asses in the seats. Oh well, doesn't make it less awesome, I just felt like I should have paid more.
Vampires Suck made about $12.2 million at the box office while Scott Pilgrim made $5 million (and Inception made $7.7 million.) Don't the audience ever fucking learn? It's like getting all hyped up for a Sonic game. Scratch that, as of August 1st, Inception made about $200,000,000.
Actually Inception made 600 million worldwide and is still expected to make 150 million before DVD release.
What's so great about it? Is it really worth it?
Definitely worth it. The effects are awesome, the action scenes are all very well done, the dialogue was well written, and while it did have to diverge from the comic in some ways, it does a very good job of staying true to it. It's not really what the trailers make it out to be.
Joining Scott Pilgrim avatar fad
From what I've seen so far, this movie is designed to appeal to awkward teens who've never had a pretty girlfriend due to social awkwardness.
You know Scott starts the movie off with a girlfriend right
Seems like Juno. You either hate it, or like it. To me it looks like an indie movie mixed with video games.
I don't know if this has been posted but adult swim did a 4 minute animated episode of scott pilgrim http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=iv&v=9hREdIiG4gU I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see them make all the comic books into an animated tv show.
They teased at it yesterday. They listed a bunch of comments people said about animated all the comics, and AS said [Hmmm] and then squibillies
if Bryan Lee O'Malley is on board and Titmouse I'll be happy
It's out in the UK today, so I'm gonna see it tonight :v:
Just saw it, queued in a line outside the cinema for about 15 mins, I didnt think I was going to get in to see it. Turns out the massive queue was for another movie. The first showing of Scott Pilgrim was no where near full, which is a shame because I think the movie really deserves it. Absolutely amazing movie, will probably go see it again at some point.
Just saw this movie last night, and it really is amazingly well done.
I'm gonna go see it again today :D
They teased at it yesterday. They listed a bunch of comments people said about animated all the comics, and AS said [Hmmm] and then squibillies
I woke up in the middle of the night and saw it and thought it was a dream. Thank god it wasn't, I hope this happens.
I would have seen it if they didn't cast fucking Michael Cera in the lead, and some ugly broad as Ramona. I liked the comics but I'll wait until the movie is streaming on Netflix.
