October 27th was the date, if I remember right.
awesome thats the exact date of my birthday
When I first heard about it, I wasn't drawn to it.
Saw the trailer, thought it looked interesting.
Read the tagline ("An Epic of Epic Epicness") and started to have reservations.
Realised Edgar Wright hasn't made a bad film yet.
Saw it and thought it was great - I've seen it twice. I thought I might be alienated, not being a part of the hipster subculture, but it doesn't draw on it in the way I thought it would. It's more a parody if anything.
Also, really like the soundtrack - and I wasn't expecting to.
Great film.

And it also means my halloween costume is all lined up, as long as I can find that green shirt with the heart and "SP"
They could have done so much more with the style.
:(

I'm actually incorrect, sorry. The actual date is November 9th. Though it also comes with DLC adding Knives as a playable character in the game!
I just noticed. Gideon's middle name is Gordon...and in the movie and books gets called "G-Man"...WHAT.
I just finished reading the comics. They've depressed me, I want someone like Ramona :frown:.
They're pretty hilarious, too. One of my favourite moments:

"A game changer"
Much better tagline IMO
Best. Fucking. Movie. Ever.
I seriously regret that Sex Bob-Omb isn't a real band. The music they have in this movie kicks serious ass.

I really love their songs!
They should release a seperate album
I still haven't seen it yet, I really want to though.
This movie will be arriving in the cinemas here soon!
Saw it this Friday, on the Norwegian premiere. Best movie this year by far. Everything was just perfect, the special effects, acting, story (really need to read the comics now) music. All of it captured exactly what I believe a lot of geeks dream of. I know I do at least. For instance, being able to play bass that can throw people around? That is just awesome.
Had not expected such great music either. Me and my girlfriend (she loved it as much as I did) almost mirrored knives during the beginning I think. Thank God the entire album is up on Spotify :D
Hipsters.
I still think Kickass is the best movie of 2010. This was fantastic though.

Both scott pilgrim and kick ass are tied in my opinion

Demon hipster chicks!
I wonder if the track death to all hipsters has anything to do with this?
If anyone ones to know the track death to all hipsters is the track that played when scott faces Gideon's goons for the second time

You're my hero, been wanting to get that track for ages. I really outta buy the score now.
I saw Kick Ass again yesterday, made me question whether I liked Kick Ass or Scott Pilgrim more.
Probably Scott Pilgrim.
I actually saw kick ass and scott pilgrim both on the same day, I have to say I enjoyed pilgrim much more. Probably because I am a huge video game dork and not so much a fan of comic books. Or something like that who knows.
