Anyone who saw the movie but didn't read the comics needs to see this he hints at it in the blue bar about kim when he says he [sp]beat up a bunch of guys and the boss saw the curvature of the earth[/sp]
Wait, so Kim moved to Toronto when he did? I'm a bit confused, though that's probably because I haven't read the comics.
Wait, so Kim moved to Toronto when he did? So I watched this and I don't get the hype. It was very average.
I feel like sharing the love for all those without SP. I'm setting up a stream for all of you guys. [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] http://www.livestream.com/ConroStream
:The film was in production before Bryan Lee O'Malley had finalized the last book. This was the original plan for both of them, but then both Edgar Wright and Bryan Lee O'Malley went with the ending we read/saw in theaters.
Which is good because it makes sense and doesn't come across as being slightly pedophilish. (If that's a word)
Is it just me, or is the girl drummer from Sex Bob-omb really cute?
Is the graphic novel(s?) better than the movie? I've only read one graphic novel I considered good. Watchmen is a comic book.
Is the graphic novel(s?) better than the movie?
Yes... read them.
Wow this alt ending sucks
I shed a tear
Alt ending is dumb, I know the reason behind it but still

Nice boobs, meh face, but she's much cuter in character: Not only does the red hair fit her much better, I love how in the movie she's always angry, because she's jealous at Scott or whatever, makes her make an even cuter face. [editline]12th November 2010[/editline] Oh god how do I make it smaller?
she's not cute at all ever
I don't get it, why is this being released on DECEMBER 27TH in the UK? What sense does it make to release a DVD two days after Christmas and over one month after the States?

Here the movie get's released in cinema the exact same date as Harry Potter :/
Heh, DVD's are expensive as shit over here anyways. 20 euros for a new DVD? No, fuck you. I'll pick it up when I go to England next year, where I will be able to get it for a reasonable price.
Just saw this for the first time today. Excellent movie. I'd like to see more movies in this sort of style.
I have to say the story was not THAT great, but the film itself is very nice and stylish.
The only thing that bugs me about the movie (which is kinda important, actually) is that they forgot to make Ramona likable. Even the first time I saw the movie, I wasn't really sure why Scott WANTED to go back to her at the end. The comics develop her heaps more, but I guess there just wasn't enough time or something in this here movie. Despite that, I still love the hell out of this movie/franchise.

All of the other characters pretty much seemed like the original characters in the books, but Ramona - who was pretty much the second main character - didn't seem like her at all.
Great movie. Just finished watching it. Really teaches you a lesson, to fight for what you want and to move on from the past.
I'm watching this tomorrow.
Watched it today with my girlfriend. I now love this damn movie
Awesome film, very unique. I'm interested in the comics now, I started reading the first one online but straight away realised that it wasn't gonna feel the same so I'm going to order the first one off Amazon (unless anyone knows anywhere cheaper?).
Dude, for how cheap they are now? Not a chance I got them all when they were all 8.99ish, now half of them are quite a bit less than that =x C'est la vie
Really wanna see this, will pick it up on DVD when it eventually comes out here in the UK.
If in the comic I liked Ramona more, in the movie I liked the Knives ending.
I have to admit I kinda like the gossip talk part of the Knives ending, I just wish the movie didn't end with Scott and Ramona sorta going of into a sub space door to god knows where, I wish they had just shown what had happened to everyone else in the movie.

I'm on the last comic, and jesus, there are so many things left out of the film.
