I was a bit disappointed with the movie, the sets and CGI was done well, but it just left this unsatisfying feeling at the end.
I sincerely don't know if I wanna watch it. I loved the comics, don't know if I wanna have the risk of being disappointed.
What did you guys think?
That was my worry, but I'm glad I saw it. It's a good experience.

It could have been much worse. The alternate ending pretty much invalidates the entire rest of the film.

Haha, just saw it, thanks for correcting.

the only problem is that they wrote the script before o'malley finished the last volume, so it kinda goes "fuck" all over you at the end. but otherwise it's still great to watch.
Just got the Level Up! Collectors Edition in the mail yesterday! :D
The Album version is the Metric version
There's an extra track which contains the clash at demonhead version heard in film.
There's an extra track which contains the clash at demonhead version heard in film.
Is there? Every soundtrack I've seen only has the Metric version, including the ones with the bonus songs (which are just Beck's version of the Sex Bob-omb songs).

That's not true, I have the album and it didn't include the clash at demonhead version
Watching it now, really have no idea what to expect.

My favorite part:
Scott: I gotta pee on her-- I mean, I gotta pee.
My little sister went to watch this movie with her friends. I expected her to watch The Social Network or something since most games she plays is the Kingdom Hearts series and those casual games on Wii and Facebook.
And she enjoyed it. A lot. I was surprised.
From what she told me about the movie I think I need to buy this. Is it available for purchase in Finland yet?
how at all is it surprising that your little sister would enjoy this?

Rusty don't make me report you for trolling. :saddowns:
Hey guys did you know? Before each evil ex-boyfriend battle, there's a number somewhere in the scene, like before the first battle, there's the number 1, but I forgot where it appears. Number 2 is on the evil ex's trailer, the 3 is on the garbage bins in the alley, 4 is in the club name, 5 and 6 apparently appear by the twins cranking the volume up to 11 (5+6), and number 7 is the final level in the building where he fights.

the 11 wasn't a Spinal Tap reference?
the 11 wasn't a Spinal Tap reference?
yeah I'm pretty sure that the 11 was for Spinal Tap, not because 11=5+6. That would just be dumb.
Or it could be both. You'd think they'd find a 5 or 6 somewhere else if that wasn't the case...
