I really need to take the time and watch this movie
I saw it yesterday in the Salty Movie Group thingy. Everybody who said this movie isn't hipster as fuck, go watch it again and pay attention.
Please tell me as to how it's hipster I've watched this like what, ten times so far and nothing seems hipster about it except the hipsters they make fun of

IIT: OMFG, It's hipster! NO, it's not hipster! lol, high schoolers who still think about cliques. People are people, fashion is fashion. Point me out a hipster, and I'll show you someone who's got four fingers pointing back at someone who: Is insecure about themselves so they result to labeling others. Doesn't know who they are so they label others.
Just watched this movie yesterday. Definitely one of the best of the year for me.

It seems it's not selling well in my country. They removed it today from the cinema listings, only one week after release.
Those DICKS
Those DICKS
Yeah I was planning to watch it tonight, and BOOM it disappeared from every listing except one with original voice acting, so I'll be watching that.
Where they in some industrial accident or something? Most people have 5 fingers on each hand.
4 fingers and a thumb. You don't point with your thumb. [editline] 8 December[/editline] The-Redneck frequently points at things with his thumb apparently.
So I was watching Superman Returns again the other night and throughout the movie, I was trying to figure out where I've seen Superman's actor before. Then I listened to his voice carefully. Oh right! The 3rd evil-ex!
Chaw (Chav, Shaw, Shave, Shawe, Dimitri, Auf Wiedershen) came to mind, you know from Chuck.
Anyone else catch those Soul Caliber IV references peppered throughout the movie...especially when Ramona fought Roxy Richter?

holy shit this film FUCKING ROCKS
Just read the comics. Entertaining and funny, not bad at all.The movie did a pretty good job of capturing the feel of the comics, but the story was changed course about halfway through and veered off into new territory. That's not a bad thing at all, it worked out pretty darn well, but it was still a little bit disappointing. I also thought it was strange how the movie seems to take place over a few days/weeks, while the comic covered more than a year.
I think they're just quick videos teaching you how to play the Sex Bob-Omb songs on Guitar, with the actor who played Steven Stills and some musician guy.
Well I would really like to see that. Can't find it anywhere on YouTube.

Removal of Knives' dad. 2. The Shafting of the twins. They were easily the WORST part of the movie.

I mean I do what I can, but I can barely tell what notes they're hitting with all the damn distortion going on.

All the focus during that book was on character development--the twins were just kind of background noise. I can see why they decided to take the twins to the cutting board for a more action-packed sequence. My biggest complaint was that the movie didn't do a great job giving Ramona much depth. During most of the movie Ramona acted kind of shallow and unpleasant. Gotta say, she was a lot more "approachable" in the comic. They did a pretty damn good job with Scott though. Hell, I think the casting in general was spot-on, it's just disappointing seeing all the main characters get chopped down to meet time constraints. While I totally dug the movie, all the characters seemed like they fell a little flat--Ramona especially.

But yeah, Ramona was a little "flat".

[sp]Stephen Stills isn't gay in the movie :saddowns:[/sp]
Wallace and Knives were quite good, in my opinion. But yeah, Ramona was a little "flat".
I hate just how toned down her character was in the movie. Her character wasn't nessecarily bad or anything, but they just made everything surrounding her more apathetic. Take the scene where Scott and Ramona first talk. In the comics, she was visibly embarrassed, and in the movie she kept the same bored look on her face the entire time. Anything involving emotion in her scenes were traded for a cold disposition. It works for the movie, but I think I prefer the original Ramona more.
I just watched this. I wasn't disappointed. Except for the relation between Scott and Ramona, they just didn't seem as close as they should be.
I just watched this. I wasn't disappointed. Except for the relation between Scott and Ramona, they just didn't seem as close as they should be.
I think that was because of the original planned ending where he ends up with Knives.
I think that was because of the original planned ending where he ends up with Knives.
Oh, much more understandable then. I need to read the comics.
Oh, much more understandable then. I need to read the comics.
Actually, he ends up with Ramona in the comics.
