I need to read the books.
Just won passes to see it Thursday. Hope it
Just read the last two volumes. I hope the movie ending is as good if not better.
It is, trust me. It was awesome.
The trailers look terrible. Looks like a disappointment. :/
Don't trust the trailers, they fail terribly at conveying the funny parts and they only show a few of the action scenes. It was awesome. I'm seeing it again this Saturday.
The movie is much better than the trailers convey. I'll probably see it again next monday.

It's at 80% on rottentomatoes and a 7.6/10 on IMDB I'm pleasantly surprised. I thought most people would rate it even lower.

I prefer looking at Metacritic and the Top Reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, there are less stupid reviews.
I also hate how most of the reviewers think the name Scott Pilgrim came from the Kurt Vonnegut Character Brian Pilgrim, seriously if they've done a little research they would know it came from the song Scott Pilgrim by Nova Scotia all Girl Band, Plumtree

Downloaded the Original Score off itunes and I'm loving the 8bit Universal theme
you do realize this is based off a widely popular comic which recently just ended http://www.scottpilgrim.com/ Instead of judging before you see it why don't you read the series and then make your opinion before talking about something you don't know about
You're still helping his argument.
Michael Cera will make this movie 100% more corny and awkward. I noticed even it in the trailers. Oh well, I will wait and see, it might turn out good.
just saw this and it was awesome!
Just back from a free pre-screening of Scott Pilgrim vs the World! The fight scenes had some annoying half second cuts so I didn't know what was going on at times but on the other hand it had some great shots and some really sleek editing. I'm surprised I actually felt for the characters as I honestly assumed it to be just an entertaining experience, nothing more, but the characters were good. I also just love the visual style such as lots of lens flares and 8 bit graphics and 8-bit songs. Go see it. 7/10
Anyone happen to know the song in the add? The techno one. It's pretty catchy.
Taking my girlfriend to go see this tomorrow. Been excited to see it ever since we saw the trailer for it at Get Him To The Greek
Going to see this at 12 tonight. Can't wait!
Anyone happen to know the song in the add? The techno one. It's pretty catchy.
Invaders Must Die by The Prodigy
Invaders Must Die by The Prodigy
And it's been said three times already.
I've heard nothing but good things about it. Should be quite enjoyable.
59% on Metacritic, I will pass.
59% on Metacritic, I will pass.
Yea because one bad review from one reviewer means it's bad all around
It's more than one. Half of the reviews gave it a score of under 60%. By the way, the new Twilight has a Metascore of 58%. And I don't have the time to watch average movies anyway.
kind of sad that you rely on reviews to tell you what movies to see
Movie critics are extremely harsh. I mean the first Austin Powers has 51 on metacritic and it's still a great movie IMO.
Kotaku Says otherwise http://io9.com/5594440/it-was-awesome-first-impressions-of-the-scott-pilgrim-vs-the-world Fucking lucky San Diego Comic con
get off of kotakus dick
The guy who plays Wallace Wells is the kid from Home Alone's brother.
59% on Metacritic, I will pass.
75 on rotten tomatoes.
Screw this movie- No, this movie looks awesome, I just don't have a girlfriend to watch it with :saddowns:
