Pathetic that they haven't sold until now. Really.
I still haven't listened to the first album, I guess I'll save it for when I can't find any new music.

Pearl Jam- Ten Best rock album I have ever had to grace my ears, every single song is a testment to awesome And Blackwater Park by Opeth But I think the best ever album made was Lateralus by tool, nothing can contest that album

I doubt many of you guys here will like it, but it's definitely one of the best things I've listened to on a sugar high.
wow you're cool
Hahah yes. Ain't I just.
But I think the best ever album made was Lateralus by tool, nothing can contest that album
Good thing music is subjective because I disagree :v:
But I think the best ever album made was Lateralus by tool, nothing can contest that album
Oh, you are dearly mistaken, because I could name you a HUNDRED albums better than anything tool could dream to make.
Oh, you are dearly mistaken, because I could name you a HUNDRED albums better than anything tool could dream to make.
Except no you can't because music isn't judged on an objective scale. What you think is good, is not good to someone else. [editline]02:01AM[/editline] Facepunch, I submit to you, the heaviest album ever written. This is the single most extreme and intense album I've ever listened to, and I am in love with every second of it. I present to you Anaal Nathrahk. The heaviest black metal band on the face of the earth. [editline]02:05AM[/editline] Note, You will not enjoy this unless you are an extreme metal fan, and one that's been exposed to some of the other super-heavy shit out there.
I was going to listen to it until I read black metal Oh well v:v:v [editline]07:08PM[/editline] Plus "heavy" isn't always code for good quite the opposite, imo Of course there are exceptions but generally

I don't expect everyone too, but I love heavy. And black metal is a great genre if you can get into it. I don't get why people shit talk it without really getting into it.
I'm not shit talking it bro, and I didn't say it was bad I'm just not into black metal, and I mean when heavy when bands compete to be fastest/most brutal and have more extreme everything until it all becomes an incomprehenisble blend of noise I doubt that black metal is one of those styles where bands do that however [editline]08:20PM[/editline] from what I've heard (from my friends not first hand) it's very artistic

Surprisngly, Anaal Nathrakh is incredibly heavy, but works in a lot of complicated composititions and incredibly melodic shit at times. However, there's a lot of incredibly fucked vocals(I love them, no one else does that I know of) in between all that.
I guess it's good to have a taste that not too many people share I have a couple bands that I really love that nobody at all I know would agree Half of them aren't metal, which is suprising as most of my friends are metal orientated I still love those bands though <3 [editline]08:38PM[/editline] Hell I'm going to listen to one of them now

This is one of their more tame songs. And Anaal Nathrakh, despite being heavy as fuck, actually do have really great rhythm and melody to their music. They really are a great band for extreme metal fans. Seriously listen to this shit fuck, probably their heaviest song. INSANELY fucking heavy, one of the heaviest tracks I've ever listened to. Great tremolo guitar in it too. This is their best song though, I think. I love the cleans in the chorus.
Yea, I agree, that is their best song, and the melodic operatic style singing he does now a days is just beautiful. I honestly think they're one of the most talented bands around for being able to be so heavy, but still innovative and still able to be beautiful.
Definitely. Most bands that have that level of brutality and heaviness are incredibly messy and just plain noisy, really. But Anaal Nathrakh are able to keep great melody to their songs, and it's very clean. (in that it isn't all a big clumsy mess) Understandable that they're very underground because they're so fucking heavy and not exactly easily accessible, but they deserve more acknowledgement than they get. I mean, listen to how aggressive and violent this song is, but listen to how melodic the guitars are as well. No other band can achieve that, to my knowledge at least.
If you like electronic, then you'll like this, the sound of the album changes from dancehall to pop to reggae to dance. In short it is awesome.
the cover looks fucking awesome

Here is a big post. This is the man... Johnny Cash, there is a problem when first listening to his music and that is knowing where to start. I recommend started with the collection of albums that are pure genius. Unbelievably good recordings, and these were the years up to his death. They are of songs that you know a sense that the "end" is near. Some of it is dark and down, but its all about how he saw life. Legendary stuff.
This is soul.. at its prime.
Pretty much Wilcos masterpiece, I must admit first listen I had some trouble recognizing the hype, but the second time I around my mind was blown.
