Listening to it right now.
It is fucking amazing. Very creepy and disturbed personality, but I love it.
It isn't your ordinary plain rock record, it is something out of what you are thinking.

In my opinion. Their very best record. It such a smooth reggae sound that is irresistable.
Try Legend first by all means, but this is a masterpiece.

Just the first bangs in Machine Gun followed by the singer's fantastic voice makes this album incredible.

Another Stevie Wonder album. Because it is fudging awesome.
It is one before his breakthrough Talking Book with Superstition and when he started being recognized as an absolute fantastic musician.
Give this a listen and understand that he was 21 when he made it.

This is Los Campesinos! second album. From start to finish it is full of great lyrics, awesome riffs and an all around brilliant sound. I would hazard to say that this album is one of the best indie albums of all time. Anybody who like indie, rock or is just looking for something really relaxing and fun to listen to should check out We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed.
I have to give you a humongous thank you. I listened to this album, expecting something great, but that's a gross belittlement of what this album fortified in my ears. My enjoyment, nay, privilege to listen to this magnificent piece of music; it's the best.

This is a wonderful album, with very complex beats and catchy lyrics. It's dance music, but I swear, I can chill to this more than dance. Alas, this is a very well done album, very catchy, and very meaningful.

a melody of all the songs on Captain Fantastic to see if you like any of it
My favourite part of the album is the live part of it. On the 2nd disk there's a live version of the album and it's pretty great. I normally don't like live versions of songs but this one is done very well. The live version of the song "Curtains" is just epic.

Neil Young - After The Gold Rush
From the first listen, you will be amazed. Its music, at its very greatest.

I need to listen to his new album. Le Noise.
Its produced by the guy who used to produce u2 and some Bob Dylan albums.
Should be good.

Some of you may recognize the name due to the video, The Parachute Ending.

Well I enjoyed that song greatly, and it sparked my curiosity. These guys really know how to make electronic music, this album is quite jazzy and very enjoyable and soothing. My personal favorite is Abbesses.

Pretty trippy music, jumps from tone to tone. It's hard to explain how it sounds. My favorites from the album are the last 8. The first 3 don't do me much justice, because I think the album really kicks in on Emergency Broadcast :: The End is Near. That's where the songs start to flow together more.

Some good mordern folk/blues, really nice to just sing along to or play.

If you are not a Dylan fan... you will be converted with this album as it did with me :saddowns:
This album has heart and soul.

Röyksopp - Senior
Because it's outstanding and back to the roots.
It's more sophisticated and mellow than Junior

My friend knows Vast Aire quite well. He's a fantastic guy.
It staggers me how them and madvillain aren't more popular :frog:
These records change the way people think about hip hop.

While I'd love them to be more popular, I see the bands and artists that are at the apex of popularity, and I'm kind of glad they are still underground.
Well, people like me are struggling to find these people :argh:
I agree it's a trouble, sometimes you have to be so underground you're like a chilean miner
Well, people like me are struggling to find these people :argh:
Its hip hop that I can really enjoy and appreciate which is brilliant, I wouldn't want them to change to gain popularity if it means a decrease in quality. I can show madvillainy and other records like it to my friends who like crappy mainstream hip hop and they are liking it which is great.
[editline]09:03PM[/editline]
at least they are making a living off it and making awesome music, they're real artists, like van gogh; they don't care massively about being stars of their generation.
