Whoops, I meant trying too hard, I was kinda confused when a cat began making a melody :v:
NOTHlNG I DO IS EVER GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU ;; [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline] But yeah I really don't understand how the sound of the music makes it seem like it's trying to hard. Sampled a cat wow that's so pathetic he's trying too hard bro 2deep4u You just can't understand maaan
Oh I understand it now, it's about dogs and cats doing cool shit together! I'll listen some more
I wish catcore was a genre or kittycore whichever sounds cooler In fact would that just be pulling a cat's tail while playing guitar
I wish catcore was a genre or kittycore whichever sounds cooler In fact would that just be pulling a cat's tail while playing guitar
I'd listen that. Heck, I'd even start a band, ''The Meowingtons''.
Post-Avant Progressive Melodic Cat-fizzcore
06:21:03:11 Up Evil, also known as Fuck Up Evil, is the second to last (disregarding the semi-remix album of Evil Off) album by the seminal EBM group Front 242. Hard and heavy, yet intricate and listenable, it's one of my favorite Industrial albums ever. Religion: Motion: Crapage (ugh the quality is awful the vocals get buried): Seriously the quality of all their songs from this album on yt are awful. Go get the album itself, Crapage and Religion sound so much sicker on it. [editline]22nd November 2010[/editline] Another album in a somewhat similar but way more hardcore vein is Evil Inside by the digital hardcore band The Shizit. If you've ever heard Atari Teenage Riot, they're somewhat like that, but almost stupidly hardcore. I love it though, fast and extreme music can be really fun. Gak Bitch - My Machine -
[img_thumb]http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn213/Circeroto/Insurgentes.jpg[/img_thumb] Insurgentes by Steven Wilson. His first solo album, it's kind of a meeting point of all his other projects. It blends elements of Porcupine Tree, Bass Communion, IEM, Blackfield and No Man into some noise-rock-ambient-psychedelic-progressive-electronica hybrid bastard child. Takes a few listens to get into but it's a fantastic album from one of the most interesting people in the progressive music scene of today (IMO).
it's more shoegaze than anything. listen to this then listen to My bloody Valentine
Anything from Merzbow. If you're not spazzing out, drooling and twitching on the floor while listening to his... erm, music, there is something wrong with your head.
Anything from Merzbow. If you're not spazzing out, drooling and twitching on the floor while listening to his... erm, music, there is something wrong with your head.
Or something right. i meant that if you dont go into a seizure your head is probably a-ok
Also, I'm throwing this out here just because it's the latest band I've had a crush to. 凛として時雨 (pronounced Ling Tosite Sigure) are indie/post-rock/hardcore/math rock/fucking everything band from Japan (obviously). here's a song off of their 2nd latest album, the very song that introduced me to them. If you're a fan of, say, pretty much any indie rock band that plays fast paced and complex music with sudden tempo changes, you're going to love these guys. [editline]23rd November 2010[/editline] automerge breaker :argh:
Ronald Jenkees, Disorganized Fun. Why? Because Ronald Jenkees is incredibly talented, and every single one of his songs is amazing. This album is no exception. I mean, look at that. Even if you don't like this electric-style genre of music, you have got to respect his talent. I mean, that song was almost entirely improvisation (excluding the beat, but he made that himself).
I really like his 'A fun beat from outer space (an experimental improv jam)' song too
This is my favourite song by him if you give a shit
I don't... Nah, I do, just listened to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UvzD4gZnw4 better quality He is amazing at doing improvisations
it's more shoegaze than anything. listen to this then listen to My bloody Valentine
I like MBV, but overall I don't notice as much in the way of shoegaze influence as I do his other bands' music, which are the genres I listed
Spirit Caravan - Jug Fulla Sun Spirit Caravan - Elusive Truth Both are Heavy Doom Metal. These are there only 2 studio albums, they also have a couple EPs.
Invaders Must Die - The Prodigy Man, I'll tell you this right now. I hadn't listened to the Prodigy in years, until it came up on my Recommended for You on Zune. I listened to the track "Invaders Must Die," and couldn't stop listening. Really good stuff.
As awesome as it is, I'd reccomend Music for the Jilted Generation as a starter, if you're looking to get "into" The Prodigy.
This. And also Experience, which arguably is better than their masterpiece, but I am still on edge they are both so good.
Classic Prodigy, so much better than their new shit, plus it has awesome artwork. This is the insert:
Classic Prodigy, so much better than their new shit, plus it has awesome artwork.
Yes, but not very nice to put it like that :colbert:
This. And also Experience, which arguably is better than their masterpiece, but I am still on edge they are both so good.
They're both excellent, but your mileage may vary on either album. If you're into slightly darker and edgier styles (claustraphobic sting bro), then go for Jilted. Experience is much more upbeat and uses heavy sampling, which I know will annoy alot of people, but the album's beats and melodies are much easier on the ears and thus easier to get "into". Hell, some people'd rather jump straight into Fat of the Land. tl;dr it's all good and I'm terrible at describing styles of electronica
Unlistenable by Steel Pole Bath Tub. One of the best noise albums I've heared, they even covered the action man theme on this album.
One of the best British albums of the last 10 years. Every song is great. Really, I can't say more. Get this album. Also this, can't believe I forgot this. My personal favorite Beatles album. God, I want to live in the sixties.

But thats personal opinion which is likely to change.
anyone who hasn't heard revolver should be pitied
anyone who hasn't heard revolver should be pitied
Best album by the best band.
Beatles is over-hyped.
be that as it may, revolver is still amazing
[editline]24th November 2010[/editline] Yellow House - Grizzly bear. It's difficult at first listen, but the more you hear it the more you start to appreciate the sound.
