I really cannot big this album up enough. If you're looking to get into dance music, this is a great place to start. It's basically house music, but with a kind of cheesy 80s euro-disco edge to it. In the Court of the Crimson King - King Crimson
Classic arty, somewhat trippy, progressive rock at its finest. The album goes from energetic to a complete standstill at times. The incredible range of emotion and imagery combined with the instrumental precision and diversity will blow you away. Without a doubt my favorite album.

A great album for those who want to get into Skinny Puppy. It's an amazing journey from start to finish. A great way to describe it is a bad trip.

I can safely say, this is one of the best albums of all time, as far as I'm concerned at least. It's an industrial masterpiece, a dark horror story, and if you actually pay attention, the lyrical genius is there as well.

yeh it is an amazing album aye, was introduced to it when I watched Interstella 5555, great movie too

Yeah Alive 07 is fantastic as well, but of their studio albums I think Discovery is my favourite.

Hurt - Vol 2
This for me is the epitome of hard rock. One of the tightest rock groups around with the best vocalist/lyricist in the hard rock genre. Hurt is the work of J Loren Wince, and the rest of the band. This is their best album IMO, it works in amazing emotionality, fantastic work on every instrument all album long, and Js best lyrical content to date, with some of his best vocal performances. If you're into hard rock, I recommend not only this album, but this bands whole discography. Hell, give a few songs a listen even if you're not, chances are you'll find something you like.

Breaking Benjamin's a shitty post-grunge band.
Unless that was a trolljob, in that case, 10/10.
That said, I recommend giving a listen to Shining's Blackjazz if you want to hear some of the most insane music ever made.

Though you can't go wrong with the "Collectables" Fripp has been releasing. 2 concerts on 2 discs, two in the 70s, another two 80s, 90s, 00s.

One of the greatest modern pieces of heavy/thrash metal. It's intense, and i sincerely hope people listen to this album. Interesting progressive death metal. Almost every song on this album exceeds twenty minutes, and expresses a wide range of musical textures and ideas. If I recall correctly, it's a concept album that tells the story of the Greek mythological character, Persephone, and her abduction by Hades. The album itself is kind of rare, and it's not exactly mainstream (even for metal).

The Getaway Plan - Other Rooms, Other Voices
All my friends and I loved this album, the songs are packed with some of the most beautiful lyrics, both sung and written I've ever heard.
All the instruments in the album, are 100% perfect for this type of record. The songs are all stuff I can relate too, and for me are such a joy to listen to. It's really a reflect on life album, and I enjoyed it immensely

just because they dont like being called metal doesnt mean they arent, they certainly arent their own genre anyway, very few artists can achieve that style
i am not a massive acdc fan anyway so i cant really comment on their career
