Semi related, A guitar virtuoso album you don't want to miss, basically an annotation of centuries ago, or Power Metal as if it would be Performed in the 17th century. Definitely one of his very best. Written during the Singer/Songwriter period in music this is definitely worth a listen. Great production too, I'm staggered its his debut to say the least.
Woops sorry for no reason :v: If you like anything with a bit of synthesizer, I recommend Enter Shikari with inhale screaming and fairly fast and intense songs. Renegades of Funk is all covers songs[from knowledge] by Rage Against The Machine, which include How I could just Kill a Man by Cypress Hill, sounds quite... funky.
dat lameness exhales are the way
See You Next Tuesday use inhale screaming in some songs, but they're still pretty good.
Adele - 21 First album of the new year that I've listened to. I had my doubts, she being hyped by the pop charts and adverts and whatever... I decided to give it a listen as people had been saying that this was a more "refined" album than her debut. I gave it a listen and I have to say.. Rick Rubin (he produces it) has done a great job with keeping a rustic feel for it. A lot more soulful than I expected and I really enjoyed it. Her voice is really listenable and she is true to what she sings. It is hype, and I believe in it :v:
I've hear some of her songs ocasionally, it's not my kind of music, but still pretty good.
I've hear some of her songs ocasionally, it's not my kind of music, but still pretty good.
Her debut album was okay. But her new stuff is definitely worth a listen, the instruments come through a lot better.
See You Next Tuesday use inhale screaming in some songs, but they're still pretty good.
Always thought inhales sound pretty lame. I don't understand how you go about doing inhales either :crossarms:
I don't understand how you go about doing inhales either :crossarms:
Easy.

David Francey - Torn Screen Door An absolute folk masterpiece. Scottish voice sings about hard labor, and other subjects, with AMAZING guitar playing. Songs from the album: Listen to full album here: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=6577645C3E297B72
Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.

Harmonies, harmonies everywhere. And acoustic sections. Just listen and weep.
I didn't like anything off that album except December flower and it's awesome solo

i've never actually heard the album i just wanted to make an american psycho reference
i've never actually heard the album i just wanted to make an american psycho reference
Yeah, but what about this? The song is so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.
Because it's the best album ever. Real talk.
His last album of his "motown" period before What's Going On. It is really distinct to see how he has matured as a vocalist and expressive artist at this point. You see a direct conjunction to him being controlled by Motown to him coming out of his shell and becoming Marvin Gaye. I don't like to say disregard his motown days because this album disproves that completely, it is so awesome.
