Are you fucking dense? It's right above you for Christ's sake.
Why so butthurt fanboy?
Why so butthurt fanboy?
You, sir, are proof that join date means absolutely nothing.
Realtime worlds, stick to crackdown, you guys did a damn good job on that game.
It's very simple. If you have good people(3 + you) with you, then this game is loads of fun. APB is like any other MP game except objectives are far away(sometimes very close... random FTW) and unbalanced matches(They MIGHT fix it.. I doubt it though)
and here you see the physics ingame... and they are fuckin horrible
ITT: Denial of wanna-be GTA mmo
Ehh, i had fun. That's all that matters to me. [editline]07:21PM[/editline]
ITT: Denial of wanna-be GTA mmo
this is farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr from gta. The only relation the games show are guns, open city, and the ability to highjack.
I have a feeling that SAMP with friends and assloads of people is more fun that this.
Yeah, actually, because I enjoy forms of mental stimuli other than video games and arguing on internet forums.
Ok, then you understand you're a dull person that enjoys dull things. Therefore, your opinion on things that are fun for the normal person is irrelevant. Thanks for the chat, you can go.
Its like GTA3:MP.
I had some fun in the beta, with the exception that I couldn't turn graphics down so I got eyeraped with bloom which resulted in a lowered FPS. It was pretty repetitive, but I didn't really expect anything else other than a mediocre TPS thing. The only real problem was the vehicle driving and unbalanced weapons. Customization is fun.
Ok, then you understand you're a dull person that enjoys dull things. Therefore, your opinion on things that are fun for the normal person is irrelevant.
The release will most definitely be a different game, I guarantee it. Not only did we not have access to all the final content in the beta in the first place, but the devs have already posted future patch notes that will be implemented in retail:
Isn't all of that already implemented in the PTW? edit: Even in what you quoted, they say "Here's what you can expect to be implemented before the key to the city event and apb's release day". That means we are currently playing WITH ALL OF THOSE CHANGES, correct? And that is what the person in the video review is playing on, I assume, since he says the release is "in two weeks" if I remember correctly. Either way, that is exactly how my game plays right now.
playing in the ptw i've noticed some differences.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. The PTW is almost as shitty as the Beta, so I guess I just end up calling them both the "beta".
Only a few things have been implemented in the PTW. I haven't seen any differences between beta and PTW myself.
This would be a good game if it wasn't 50 bucks and pay to play
Only a few things have been implemented in the PTW. I haven't seen any differences between beta and PTW myself.
So what things from the list you posted will be implemented in the retail game, that aren't implemented in the PTW, and will change the game greatly enough to make it a "different game"? I already know the final game will have chaos districts, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about changes to standard gameplay, like what you listed, that will make it play like a quality game, but that aren't already implemented in the PTW. Because it kinda seems like you're just trying to defend the game here. Believe me, I so badly wanted this game to be good. I was hyped for over a year before its release. But after many hours in the Beta and PTW, I have simply accepted that at this point, it is a shitty game. Maybe a year from now it will be fun.

I know the upgrade balancing hasn't as I've still seen people running around with un-nerfed upgrades.
They did do most of the bolded changes though - league members no longer get upgrades that other players can't. Everyone is able to get all upgrades, and they are unlocked easier. I guess they might not have nerfed the upgrades themselves, though, but IMO that is a change that doesn't affect the core gameplay experience at all enough to make it a quality game.

Ah, well I'm just saying that no longer do idiots get the weapons for being in a league. I didn't notice leagues were down since I never took part in them. I guess its just as bad when you have to grind to get the weapons anyway, though.
Hah. I bet he jacks off to his character a lot.
Merely watching a scantily-clad black hooker maraud through the streets is enough to turn me off from this game.
Only huge nerds care about join date.
Quoted for truth
I still have a feeling this game might be some fun. Gonna wait some weeks after release and see if they've fixed some issues and stuff.
Once it's released I'm going to wait a few months until they've fixed everything (or maybe released a huge update or something) like the above person said. It has a lot of potential, as of now it's only beta so you can't expect it to be too great right now. They're still making the game so by the time it's released it's going to be very different.
