thats pretty legit man.
this way we're better off because if there's any problem with the website being glitchy and shit, i can fix it myself and we don't have to rely on anything
Yeah there's definitely upsides to hosting your own site. If you can get it running with some proper features it'd be cool.
Only downside is someone has to pay for it

i have no idea what's wrong with this shit, godaddy has the worst Help section of any website i've ever used. it defaulted to this InstantPage bullshit that i couldn't add any HTML scrip to, so i removed that and pointed the domain to the home page i had actually set up with all the widgets
now when i go on to the site builder, and i look at the screenshot it shows for the homepage, EVERYTHING IS FINE. it shows up and everything is fucking dandy. but when you actually go to ddfp420.net, all you get is some shitty 404 error
