Have fun doing push ups... er the navy.. just have fun then I guess.
More then likely going to join myself in a few months. I'll end up trying to go in as a Master At Arms so i can do military police, seeing as my degree is in criminal justice. It should give me a good upper hand having both a degree and experience later on. Best of luck to you.
Good luck. Be careful and watch over yourself and your comrades.
Hope it all goes well. :downs:
Even if you get in there and shit bricks and wish you never joined.. You'll eventually realize it was one of the best decisions of your life. Good luck.
I'm a Marine, If i see you in the fleet you will die. Welcome Aboard!
.
I agree.
What does the US even use subs for anyways nowadays
Recon, intelligence, clandestine missions, and nuclear delivery, much easier on a sub since you can find silos with google map.
I'll be joining the Royal Marines at some point soon enough. I'll try to highfive you if our ships pass eachother, although I have no idea what you look like. Maybe i'll just highfive all the US navy personnel I meet, that should work.
. [editline]27th July 2011[/editline] They still go through live fire exercises incase they get into a situation like that, rare as it may be.
I wasn't aware of barbed wire exercises. :v: I assumed they just shot at targets with a pistol and shotgun. :v:
Can't wait to go to the army myself. I've never fired a weapon in my life and I'm really looking forward to holding the gun tight and firing a burst as accurately as I can on my first try.
Stay safe out there.

It'll be more like firing off a clip semi-auto after you learn how to clean and service that wonderful M4 of yours.
