I've had lots of ideas for threads in here too, but I always forget them. :smug:
i disagree with you so hard if it was an erection it would smash stone back in black is absolutely the weakest song on the album along with you shook me all night long. shake a leg shows johnson's true vocal talents along with a better solo, better riff, better drums. [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] and what is reset panda the new akz with all these threads? [editline]3rd February 2011[/editline] your trying a bit too hard son
I dunno, rock n roll aint noise pollution is pretty fucking sweet never really liked shake a leg

SPLHCB in the OP seems a bit of a stretch

Paradise Lost - Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us I just remembered that the title track is one of my all time favorite songs.
Man I fucking love that album
I dunno, rock n roll aint noise pollution is pretty fucking sweet never really liked shake a leg
favorites comes down to personal opinion. but back in black is definitley the weakest song of album was the point i was trying to bring out [editline]4th February 2011[/editline]
I knew some smart ass would do that, you're not fucking funny.
im gonna have to go with panda on this one while puppets is a timeless classic thrash metal song, disposable heros hits a hell of alot harder, and the thing that should not be and sanitarium are true thrash ballads (strange wording herem but i think i get the point across ) [editline]4th February 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/dc/Ridethelightning.jpg[/img_thumb]
no creeping death > ride the lightning

Why not Master of Puppets?
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/dc/Ridethelightning.jpg[/img_thumb]
Am I the only one who thinks that Fade to Black was the best song on that album? Don't get me wrong, the whole album was fantastic, I just feel like Fade to Black beat out all the other songs. [editline]4th February 2011[/editline] As for content, I feel like I'm one of very few who actually listens to progressive trance on this board, though.
[img_thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/517T-EgfEaL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/img_thumb]
That was my first thought when I saw this thread title. Not even kidding.
[img_thumb]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Fv6dbSXo1fI/S9UXNu0rvlI/AAAAAAAAAKc/FyTaQzkvo-M/s1600/opeth-deliverance.jpg[/img_thumb]
This was my second thought.
Paradise Lost - Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us [img_thumb]http://zoinks.tv/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Paradise-Lost-Faith-Divides-Us-Death-Unites-Us.jpg[/img_thumb] I just remembered that the title track is one of my all time favorite songs.
I didn't even think of this, but yeah, it's definitely one of the best on the album. Which isn't saying much, since I found it such a letdown after In Requiem. They had such potential to go back to their roots, and then they did a full 180 and released that album. Oh well. :smith:
[img_thumb]http://image.betamonline.com/sdimages/disk18/280354.jpg[/img_thumb]
I honestly didn't expect to mention a non-metal album in this thread, but I will agree with this as well. And now my own contributions: [img_thumb]http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mmZvLhqr18o/RnMcpo_9-sI/AAAAAAAAAD8/ACOZdVtOzrM/s1600/The_Divine_Conspiracy_cover.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51e7wYRCJgL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_BMcyuhQhSgs/SW6oAEx-K9I/AAAAAAAAAWw/f951SbHKIhM/s320/Aeveron+-+Existential+Dead+End+%282008%29.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_220vz8JKmAQ/R2TfZPYl_mI/AAAAAAAAA2Y/2WQpDnCO2Dg/s400/riderscover.bmp[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/reviewpics/barrencursed.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://www.metal-archives.com/images/1/8/1/9/181965.jpg[/img_thumb] I think that's enough for now. :v:
[img_thumb]http://cdn.pitchfork.com/media/11202-the-airing-of-grievances.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JhcYS20JU6E/SjkXrxz_K3I/AAAAAAAAAFY/9IdxiudwsNA/s1600/sufjan%2Bstevens%2B-%2BIllinoise.jpg[/img_thumb]
the airing of grievances isn't a song on the album
Forgot these: Well, the title track of the last one is called "Rust in Peace... Polaris" but shhhh.
[img_thumb]http://images.wikia.com/beatles/images/7/7b/Let_it_be.jpg[/img_thumb]
Thought about that too. But I can't really say it is.

[editline]4th February 2011[/editline]
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/84/MarvinGayeWhat%27sGoingOnalbumcover.jpg/500px-MarvinGayeWhat%27sGoingOnalbumcover.jpg[/img_thumb][img_thumb]http://www.pjf.org.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/in-the-court-of-the-crimson-king-King-Crimson-LP.jpg[/img_thumb]
That's twice I've had the Crimson King guy look at the guy on the left album cover. :v:
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/dc/Ridethelightning.jpg[/img_thumb] I am sorry but I think you forgot about the Call of ktulu

I don't like the album, but I thought the title track was somewhat decent.
The title track Awaken is just so much better than the rest of the album in my opinion.
[img_thumb]http://cdn.pitchfork.com/media/11202-the-airing-of-grievances.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_JhcYS20JU6E/SjkXrxz_K3I/AAAAAAAAAFY/9IdxiudwsNA/s1600/sufjan%2Bstevens%2B-%2BIllinoise.jpg[/img_thumb]
Yep, totally agree with both (If you mean Titus Andronicus, the track)
[img_thumb]http://image.betamonline.com/sdimages/disk18/280354.jpg[/img_thumb]
Disagree, I think Memory Of A Free Festival is better [editline]4th February 2011[/editline] [editline]4th February 2011[/editline] That's all I can think of off the top of my head
As for content, [img_thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41t0Ew5PPIL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/img_thumb] I feel like I'm one of very few who actually listens to progressive trance on this board, though.
I like Armin, but more so because of A State Of Trance. His own work doesn't appeal to me anymore. Gareth Emery and Arnej are more my style.
[img_thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51e7wYRCJgL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/img_thumb]
I don't know... I prefer "Prism & Gate", "Ghost Prototype I - Measurement of Thought" and "Morphogenesis" personally.
Another Bowie album, thought I'm partial to Suffragete City on this album
