COD2 was an amazing game
Another reason to get Cod 2: Not having 12 year olds yelling at me because i'm not quick scoping.
COD 2 was a great game :colbert:
i loved united offensive a bit more than cod 2, especially that giant snow map + constant airstrikes = amazing experience. also medal of honor: AA sounds?
YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT BASE ASSAULT AND TANKS.
YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT BASE ASSAULT AND TANKS.
i haven't played in a while, lost my cd key.
This was the first game i got for my xbox 360 in 2006 i think. I remember i thought this game had the best graphics i've seen so far in a game. Oh my so ugly it looks now...
I dont understand, its just general gameplay, nothing special. Am I missing somthing here?
9 people didn't get it. :smith:
I liked Call of Duty 2: Big Red One a lot more than CoD2.
lol console exclusive
That would be MW & up, CoD:2 is amazing. I bet you've never even played it. [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] Read the title of the YouTube video.
bad reading
This isn't even vanilla CoD 2.. It's a mod. I saw this video on ModDB a while ago. The running animations are shit and all the comments on ModDB say that too.
so REEEEEAAL i remember when this came out
I love how they still use some of the sounds from this game in black ops.
I love how they still use some of the sounds from this game in black ops.
And that valve used some of the same decals/noises/weaponry for multiple games. Including the same engine. I don't know why people say "lol callofduty uses oldstufflol"
I love how they still use some of the sounds from this game in black ops.
A lot of companies recycle sounds, models, and other things from their previous games. It saves a lot of time, money, and effort.
I notice that the terrible bloody screen was in the alpha for CoD2 as well. Wonder why they brought it back for MW2 when none of the other games had it in the final version.

Your just helping prove his point.
The source engine could do with a re-haul.
It could, but it's not at CoDs position yet where MW3 looks exactly like MW1 and at least Valve updates theirs with every new game they make.
It could, but it's not at CoDs position yet where MW3 looks exactly like MW1 and at least Valve updates theirs with every new game they make.
True. This is one of the most civilized debates involving call of duty I've ever seen.

I kinda get the feeling it's only there because MW2 had it.

I fucking loved this game. So much. I was pretty amazing at the beach landing part. Climbing up the cliff was awesome.
I love how they still use some of the sounds from this game in black ops.
they still use some of the sounds from hl1 in hl2 does it matter
Best CoD's were CoD1 and 2 IMO. And the best part of both of them was the charge at Stalingrad, fucking awesome. CoD 4 was the last good game of the series, the rest are crap.
Yeah, they really do need a new engine.
This. Everything in cod feels too light and slippery, and the "vehicle" sequences are all floaty and feel horrible.
True. This is one of the most civilized debates involving call of duty I've ever seen.
My god it is, I actually expected to have a heated discussion, I was actually shocked by simzboys answer and yours, I guess the guys who defend/attack the other with stupid reasons and swearing haven't seen the thread yet.
