Aaaaaaaaaaaand practically half of the state has called parking bans. Except for the capital. I swear, this happens every single time there's an impending snowstorm.

Rhode Island is pretty cool for urban exploration. So much abandoned shit right out in the open. :v:

Depends on how much your friends/family say it really.

So yeah I'd say its a New England thing.

Hella is an Oakland/Bay Area thing. Doesn't mean us Yanks can't appropriate it.

also fuck walking to class today, it was so windy the snow nearly poked an eye out.
I know... why couldn't it have snowed yesterday night. I would have liked to get a day off then... but nooooo, weather going round and fuckin me... pizza shit.
and every other college in SE Mass cancelled classes today. The community college less than 10 miles away cancelled classes today. Dartmouth and New Bedford public schools are closed today.
But UMass Dartmouth is open today. And none of my professors cancelled classes today. Fuck this shit.
hah, my brother up in stoughton got about 2-3 feet of snow, meanwhile south kingstown got about 1 inch

Jersey Boy reporting, snow is about 95% melted all over town, and I shoveled my entire driveway and backyard deck on Friday.

Didn't even bother shoveling since it was going to be in the 50's.
Just roll with the weather and life's good.

I had to do a little shoveling so my family could get into the driveway, but then I just sort of accidentally the whole thing
We had about 15 inches at my house in Fitchburg
I love living in a tourist town with loads of history (Mystic CT.) On the River here we have a Maritime Museum that I always go to whenever I have visitors from other parts. Plus we have a really nice waterfront area that's great for dates and parades and just hanging out.
Mystic is cool. I'd like to visit it again sometime.
Been there a couple times, its pretty fun the first 2 times, then the only thing fun after that is the aquarium

Mystic is a pretty nice place. I try and go there at least once every summer.
South New Jersey here.
Our society is based on farming and having nothing to do but make smartass remarks about how we hate North Jersey for giving our state such a bad name.
We're the complete opposite of what most think of New Jersey. We're rural, we have more Mexican and Puerto Rican immigrants than Italian and zero mafia guys.
Also, Camden is Philly's feces so PA, please take it we don't want it anymore.

North Jersey isn't even that bad, and all of the bad parts are bad because of their proximity to NYC.
Oh, and isn't Philadelphia's news really bad? I remember going to Atlantic City a year or two ago and it was pathetic compared to New York's news programming.
Honestly, NY should just annex North Jersey and let SNJ be free and independent :v:
As for news...I dunno, I don't pay attention to local news channels all that much nor ever did. (Not that I would be able to compare, having lived here my whole life).
