• The Art of Driving While High

I get high and drive every day I don't get what all the fuss is about, it's nothing like drink driving at all.
What can I say about it? Driving high doesn't make you alert, but makes you more aware of what you need to do next. The only thing going through your mind is keeping the car on the road and not looking like you're under the influence in any way. Only ever driven really stoned once. This was because I didn't know I had work an hour later after I had a huge hit from the bong. I found it frustrating and just wanted it to be over. Paranoia is normally something I like about weed, but when you're driving with paranoia, it's a whole new thing. Every other time (I can count this on 2 hands) has been around the 3-4 hour mark where I'm just slightly buzzed.
I will most likely drive high, not really high but I don't see what the fuss is about I drive around with people that are high most of the time and they don't seem to be any better or worse at driving.
Driving on alcohol isn't safe under any circumstance but i do it anyway because... well i got to get my car home too... I once drove 30 minutes to the opposite side of the city, fought some kid, and drove back.... all while COMPLETELY blacked out... don't remember driving or the fight... def shouldn't have been driving that night...... or fighting for that matter
Damn.. I've done exactly the same thing, I woke up the next day missing quater a tank of petrol. About 2mm of rubber burnt off my tyres and tracks on the end of my road that looked like someone pulled a handbrake turn. Driving while high, obviously if you're caught your fucked I just hang a load of air fresheners off my rearview, if you get pulled and the copper asks you about the car stinking of the pine air freshener you just doused yourself in you easily just nod to the bunch hanging off the rearview. The only damn problem I've had is forgetting which way I'm going and missing my damn turnin, once when hotboxing at a friends in a part of town I didn't know very well I ended up getting in the wrong lane and fucking off 12 miles in the wrong direction! I usually get people fucking flashing me and beeping then I realize I'm doing 20 in a 30 lmfao.
I usually get people fucking flashing me and beeping then I realize I'm doing 20 in a 30 lmfao.
I hate when I'm only going 35 and it feels like I'm going at least 80.
This is a stupid thread and everyone who has driven while high has not only put themselves in serious danger, but pedestrians and other road users.
This I thought I was being hardcore taking the Tube while quite high (:downs:). DUI of any drug is stupid.
Well, soldiers took amphetamines so they could control planes easier and for longer time. Hezzy, from where is this pic from?
The only misadventure Iv ever had while high is on my trip to McDonalds with my ex girlfriends sister. I was driving a old 71 chevy and I tried to park right as you enter, but I turned to soon and jumped the curb. My truck got stuck for a few mins as I tried to figure out what to do. I soon figured out to just to gun it as hard as I could. We then drove to the burger king parking lot and walked back to McDonalds.
This is a stupid thread and everyone who has driven while high has not only put themselves in serious danger, but pedestrians and other road users.
Surely you can say that about driving whilst tired, people in the car as distractions, loud music etc...?
You can't really compare the effects of drugs to those
You can't really compare the effects of drugs to those
I don't know if you've ever driven stoned, but driving while tired is MUCH harder (and i'd say more dangerous) than driving high.
Great, the one morning I wake and bake I need to go make a delivery. Wish me luck
I drove on speed once. I will never do it again.
This is a stupid thread and everyone who has driven while high has not only put themselves in serious danger, but pedestrians and other road users.
I only drive when high off of weed, nothing else (and sober obviously). And if you seriously think that is a big danger...go smoke a bowl.
Driving while high is hella scary because this one time i was driving high and i couldn't really judge the distance and i think i was driving really slowly because everybody was just honking at me (i actually thought i was driving faster than usual).
I smoked weed butter at my dealers house and drove once. That was an intense experience.
You can't really compare the effects of drugs to those
people generally can't drive very well when they fall asleep at the wheel [editline]10:16AM[/editline] around here the school actually had to invest in buses for post-prom, because it always ends at like 7 A.M. and the kids are falling asleep at the wheel while driving home. driving while fatigued is a very serious problem, and can't be prevented easily.
Just picked up, smoked a biff with my dealer. I thought I was getting some crappy mids so I saw no problem driving. This shit fucked me up, got lost on the way home and it took 30 minutes longer than usual lmao
I've driven tired, high, and drunk (once, accidentally). I'll outline each one: HIGH: Other than the 2 times I mentioned above, it goes smoothly, no problems. TIRED: Oh man, fuck that. I woke up on the opposite side of the road with oncoming traffic one time. Other times included swerving (towards the ditch, luckily). DRUNK: It was one of those times where you enter your car feeling fine, but halfway through you realize you're not fine. Hard to concentrate, paranoid, just a bad experience overall. So the winner for best driving experience: weed.
Have to agree with you Clover.. The worst thing to do is drive tired, like you said nothing beats snapping your head up to notice you've crossed the median and are 80m away from the front of a Transit Van. Smoking, you'd just notice how pretty the Transit Van's lights are Drinking, you're going too fast so you won't even see it lmao.
when your baked you can go 40mph, the second you press down to go 45mph, it feels like you're going 70.
