Fuck you he was great. He did whatever he could to contribute to the community and was in no way a bad mod. His bans were fair, and quite frankly he was the only mod that I wasn't scared shitless of having a conversation with (well daijitsu was another one but I haven't seen him in a while).

What did Hezzy do to you?
Democracy is dead unless you live in certain countries in the middle east right now...
FP has never been democratic.

13 dumbs in one minute, you are incorrect.
Or you could contribute to the discussion rather than simply insulting people
"Contributing" wouldn't get me anywhere as I'm talking to a stubborn child who can't turn their face to the truth. You should probably just leave the thread right now before you scar your reputation here anymore. Actually re-read everything and consider the information that's been put on the plate before even thinking of starting this discussion again. Maybe then you'll realize why you are making yourself out to look like an idiot.
Woah, Must be Garry's time of the month.
[editline]23rd February 2011[/editline]
Come back Hezzy, you were the best mod.
It's better that everyone can socialize in the general forum and fast threads. Why hide away in a lonely part of the forum when you can talk with thousands of more people in gd and ft?
The problem is it's almost impossible to keep track of people in the general milieu of General Discussion. If you're in a smaller subforum with people for niche interests, you can actually make friends. I know I did.
Chris0132 wasn't gay but would frequently post in the gay forum because he found the fact we all knew each other conductive to actually having reasonable conversations. For drug discussion users, it meant being able to chat to each other about drugs without having to constantly field "420 erry day~~~" posts or attacks on their behaviour.
So, anybody wanna make me a RIP Hezzy avatar?
Pff Hypocrite.

(He also edited that, because if i remember correctly it said something like "I have no problems with it, i even occasionally visit the forum myself.")

Pretty much this....

went back and watched it jump to 20 in 5 seconds
I somewhat agree with Garry, in the sense of cliques being formed.
I have gone to many sections, and felt like trying to fit in, but being pushed out by a tight knit group of "friends" saying you have no place.
It is kind of fucking stupid, especially when drama happens within those cliques.
He's still here hezzy. Even if he is not a mod anymore he can still bring joy to the forum.
EDIT: Damn so fast you all are posting!
time to move bigheaded b up to mod status...

What? Which subforum shunned you? I'm interested to know.

Plus when you have more users concentrated into the same board, the general friendliness level goes down. Look at 4chan for an extreme example of this effect.
compare /b/ with /an/ or /sci/.
This entire thread is an overreaction, Who gives a fuck what Garry did, he probably had a good reason for it.

The drug discussion forum was very open if I recall. I could go there and comfortably inquire about things without being chewed out by the regulars there.

Show me a forum that doesn't develop cliques. When there's areas where anyone can gather as a group of friends a clique will develop, whether it be a thread or a subforum or whatever.

gay pride was pretty swell
I would just pop my head in randomly over the course of my life on facepunch and they never shunned me.
What? Which subforum shunned you? I'm interested to know.
I double this interest. also want a quote of HOW they shunned you.
hggfgh what a fucking mess

Prepare for agree bombardment.

Gay Pride was a bit of a clique though. Not a closed clique, but a clique. I think what he's referrencing to is the Furry board, the Furry clique was pretty well shut.
Probably been said but, the point of the lifestyle forums wasn't to keep those groups tucked away, but to keep them out of general discussion, because those forum topics were routinely being reintroduced over and over to GD. With lifestyle forums, the forums go slower, therefore members can see old threads and not have to repost similar ones. Sure a clique forms in these areas but that would happen to GD if the forum didn't have a fuck ton of members.
Also if I remember correctly the furry board had the most posts out of all the lifestyles but I may be wrong on that.

I went to the drug discussion because I had a few questions about it. They were friendly, answered my questions and more. They were awesome :3:
I double this interest. also want a quote of HOW they shunned you.
It was probably a while ago, and if it was Love Advice it would have been deleted. I'd just like him to explain which one shunned him and why.

People actually made friends with each other, but it wasn't a "clique" in that sense of the term.
garry is being a butt again
