Charades! If played exclusively with smart people, they can do all sorts of bizarre things! For example, a couple of my friends made up a gesture to denote "concept". The concept rounds aren't very fun though.
Pictionary's good as well.
Haha I still have that Wrath of God card with me.
Hearts of Iron 2 with the World in Flames mod.
Chess, and Risk (and its more complex variants) for board games I'd say, Chess is great fun (so is Risk, but it takes ages).
And as games, then I'd say more tactical games like ArmA and Men of War.
I would suggest Axis and Allies, but the real thing, not the miniatures sets
I'm just starting to get back into Magic. Been a while.
Man i love Magic, but i stopped a while ago cause it's kinda "Nerdy." Last year i got to play it at Tech Camp though and remembered how amazing it was, and i try to play with my friend whenever i can.

It's not nerdy.
Well, compared to the people who still play yugioh in my area. :v:
I wanna play Magic.
But I don't know how :(
Guess I are not smart.
Magic was pretty awesome, especially when I got this "level? 10" character. It was this giant worm.
Turns out I didn't even have that much land EVER to play it.

Don't worry, it's confusing the fuck out of me too. :v:

I feel left out not knowing how to play though, almost all my friends play it
Same with D&D.
Well, besides chess:

Cathedral is a pretty fun game. Simple to play, but it does require a bit of strategy if you want to win.

Same with me. Everyone I know plays Magic and D&D. Like half our school plays either one of those.

Yeah, I would play that game when I was about 8 or so. Great game.

You have a really nerdy school then.
Myst.
Will make you shit bricks if you're not smart.

Haha, I felt so proud when I managed to find that card in the old collection of cards my dad gave me.
I've always loved Magic, even though Ive never really learned to play it properly...

So you stopped because it's "nerdy"?
Back on topic: Axis and Allies (board game) too, if you can find the time to play it of course.

You should see mine then. Even girls play videogames the whole day here.
Oh and there is nothing negative in being "nerdy".
Majjhong Online ^^
I suppose i should post my deck idea on the off chance someone might critique it:
20 Lands:
14 Forest
4 Treetop Village
2 Mosswort Bridge
25 Creatures:
4 Llanowar Elves
4 Heritage Druid
4 Nettle Sentinel
4 Imperious Perfect
2 Wolf-Skull Shaman
3 Bramblewood Paragon
2 Twinblade slasher
2 Regal Force
15 Spells:
4 Gilt-Leaf Ambush
4 Hunting Triad
3 Elvish Promenade
2 Overrun
2 Coat of Arms
There you go, mono green elvish swarm.
Magic was cool but they started running out of good ideas for cards and started to run out of people to play with. It got less cool rather quick.
I sold all my stupid magic cards and made like 600 bucks. Good fuckin deal.
Oh yeah, how about...
3D CHESS!

Chess is awesome.
I would like to play Magic or something like D&D, but I don't think I could find anybody who would play with me.
War.
The real kind.
I don't see how they're "smart" games. They have been made for entertainment, not for testing your intelligence. Or what do you really mean? That they're complex? Magic is pretty complex, Risk too.
