My friends say dope and swerve a lot. My personal favorite slang term is froth or frothy. It's pretty much the equivalent of awesome or feeling good. So, if you're having a good day, you're feelin' frothy.

Christ, I live in Yorkshire. 80% of my dialect is slang. We also hate the word "the".

my friends and i have made up a lot of different slang, most of it with its own origins and most of it being quite hilarious. one of my favorites is "shitting the condom" which means to screw up or be in an unfortunate or dire situation. they're inside jokes and they will never catch on but it's pretty fun most of the time to make up your own stuff
