This isn't funny.
wait are they seriously meant to not be eaten by 1 person
onion satire video aside, nnnnooooot really. like, look at all of the menus at subway. every addon for your sandwich is priced by default for 6 inch subs. most of our special deals are for 6 inch subs, like the daily special. but i mean it's america so yeah i'm not going to judge you if you get a double meat double cheese roasted chicken with bacon
onion satire video aside, nnnnooooot really.
i know but idk they usually build off of things that are true to satirize or make fun of so i just thought
Eating a delicious meal alone is a very delightful, peaceful experience
i know but idk they usually build off of things that are true to satirize or make fun of so i just thought
He's saying they aren't really meant to be eaten by one person
I know this is the Onion but are footlongs really fucking $5 in the US? It's fucking £5 over here, what the fuck.
everything is cheaper in the us
"The Onion" oh alright than.
This isn't SH, so there isn't really any reason to bitch about it being Onion or not.
everything is cheaper in the us
Everything is more expensive in the UK.
From the title alone, I thought they were referring to the Subway hentai photoshops from a while back
I thought they were referring to an even more horrifying picture.
totally agree with this vid op, 12 inches of anything should not be swallowed entirely by one person. 2 people should divide the work between them and savour each inch of that long foot long sandwich [editline]3rd September 2014[/editline] when I try and have a 12 inch by my self it just gets really messy and the mayonaise and other fluids just go everywhere
subway is not healthy food and they try really hard to make people think otherwise.
subway is not healthy food and they try really hard to make people think otherwise.
well at least most of it is salads, unlike mcdonalds is ect..
well at least most of it is salads, unlike mcdonalds is ect..
well technically corn can be used as a salad ingredient...
This was funny but disappointing. What's happened to their production value? The voiceover audio sounds irritating and amateur, the actors aren't very good, and the pacing and effects feel all wrong. Compare to one of their earlier videos:

I'm waiting for the next movie they make, honestly.

Every once and awhile they release gold like that future news report
everything is cheaper in the us
Not to mention, prices are usually before tax and is only added in when you buy it.
The small, abstract feeling of guilt in the back of your mind for buying what is essentially twice what a 'regular' portion is (six inch)
Sorry, but even with 12" of saucy meat and balls, I still want a second footlong.
totally agree with this vid op, 12 inches of anything should not be swallowed entirely by one person. 2 people should divide the work between them and savour each inch of that long foot long sandwich [editline]3rd September 2014[/editline] when I try and have a 12 inch by my self it just gets really messy and the mayonaise and other fluids just go everywhere
Agreed. If you're ever facing off against something longer than six inches, best to invite a friend to help out.
sometimes one footlong just doesn't end the hunger but then I feel bad because I'm already too heavy and my body doesn't need it and it wants it at the same time so difficult, man I tell you
im literally the only subway employee in a 20 mile radius of my home that tesselates the cheese it takes just the same amount of time and customers love it. what the fuck subway, this shit is standard but no employees do it.
wtf every subway employee i've seen around here tesselates the cheese. You'd have to be some kind of absolute filth to not tesselate the cheese
onion satire video aside, nnnnooooot really. like, look at all of the menus at subway. every addon for your sandwich is priced by default for 6 inch subs. most of our special deals are for 6 inch subs, like the daily special. but i mean it's america so yeah i'm not going to judge you if you get a double meat double cheese roasted chicken with bacon
a footlong sweet onion chicken teriyaki (just a random example) is only like 600 calories that is not unreasonable for one person to make a meal of by any means
Not to mention, prices are usually before tax and is only added in when you buy it.
Now that is just plain evil.
New subway employees tessellate cheese, but older ones who've been working there for a long time don't tessellate the cheese because they don't care.
I know this is the Onion but are footlongs really fucking $5 in the US? It's fucking £5 over here, what the fuck.
3.04 pound Footlong doesn't sound as catchy :v:
I think the video posted is one of their throw away videos done by a different studio. Every once and awhile they release gold like that future news report
Eh, I think the future news was one of their weaker ones. The Onion's strongest point is the unequalled levels of deadpan with which they approached absurdism and satire, and I think the future news depended on the wackiness too much and dragged lots of the jokes on.
I got a 6 inch today to binge after a fairly depressing set of circumstances, I must say that I'd have rather binged on more fattening pig meat and bread. But it's good to know my eating fast food to feel better is actually considered socially unacceptable, that makes it even more comforting.

Then its like a proper meal. Or if you are fattypigman like me you get a footlong, dorites and a cookie.
