take a big cardboard box, and a brick in the middle with some paper on the bottom, drop the bottle on the brick (so it shatters), tape the box shut and wait for a day (just to make sure whatever there is to make sure).
take the box to a science lab and demand that you may be there when they examine it.

Do it. My advice is to get a bucket, and then put it in there. It shouldn't be able to get out, if it is capable of moving around on its own. If you are still in doubt, then put clingfilm or something over the top of the bucket to seal it off.
Just open that shit allready.
