Deutsche Hürensohnen, ich hab n großes Problem mit dem WLAN auf ICE Züge.
wenn ich wifionice.de besuche und "Login" klicke, bekomm' ich ein HTTP 500 Fehler. auch mit Handy, doch gibts ein DNS Fehler. ist das Netz einfach Scheiße? ich hab noch 4 Stunden bis München nur mit 128Kbps (vielen Dank, Deutsche Telekom)
Manche Züge haben einfach kack wlan, kann man nix machen außer dem Schaffner sagen. Der wird dann aber nichts unternehmen.
Jemand sagte dass wir nach Arnhem-Bahnhof (NL) Netz haben würden. Hoffentlich ist das die Wahrheit, anders werd ich total sinnlos

Realistically, DuoLingo has some pretty well structured curriculums. Do not use Rosetta Stone. RS is the wrong way to learn a language and enforces bad language habits. Back in the day, LiveMocha had the best language learning program. Then they got bought out by Rosetta Stone, and I don't know the quality of the instruction there anymore. Start off with DuoLingo though, get some basic vocabulary down. Then perhaps look into online exchanges, where you can get someone willing to speak German online with you in a Skype or Google Hangouts call.
The best way to learn is with a tutor, though. It's a cost-prohibitive method, but immersion is the only way to lay the foundation for learning the language. If you only read and write German, and have nobody to practice speaking and listening with, things will be much more difficult.
Deutsch ist nicht so schwer als diesen Scheißköpfe sagen. Man muss üben, üben, üben.

I haven't taken German classes since I graduated high school and it has taken me all of 2 days in Cologne to feel comfortable ordering food and asking questions at information desks in German. Occasionally I can't understand what someone is saying and have to sheepishly switch back to English, but damn it feels good to still be bilingual (to a degree)

Pinakothek der Moderne definitely. I think on Sundays admissions is 1€ so there's really no reason not to go.
You will get to see real fucking Salvador Dalis and Picassos on the first floor. It's amazing
just go to a slots parlor and spend all your euros on a machine next to some old guy that smells like piss and cigarettes, that's the real munchen experience.
then go to burger king at the HbF and have a rodeo burger. it's the only way

I stayed in a weird eco hippy hotel called Soulmade, but damn it was really good for not a lot of money. I payed about 130 euro's for 2 nights. Seperate bathroom, living area and kitchen.
Also saw every macdonalds burgerking and begger in Munich. Would recomend.
