Once I just went exploring without thinking about it harder. Packed up knife, batteries, water, matches and Led lamp. I went to nearby forest and I saw a small bulge on the terrain and some barbwire behind it. I went to there. I saw concrete walls and I was already excited. I like a lot of WWII stuff and anything related to bunkers. So there was a bunker digged into ground, it was surrounded with fence with barbwires. The fence gate was locked with chain and padlock. It was very rusty and the gate wasn't in it's original shape, it look'd like someone has gone trough it. The "Blast door" was visible from the fence, it was also rusty, atleast 5cm thick. I check'd the ground so I didn't step to any sharp things, I've experienced a barbwire on a foot. There was police tape on the ground, cigarette butt's, tin cans and alot of plastic bags. The blast door was open and it has padlock too but it was on the ground broken. I went to inside and in this point I got chills because I'm afraid almost everything abandoned and dark. In inside there was alot of litter, a hallway, planks and ash. There was 3 rooms, One look'd like it was for ammunition and the other two was full of beds. I heard those classic cave sounds, like gravel falls on the ground or like water is flowing nearby. I didn't get hard feelings on that, but I heard humming, like wind but lot lot deeper and scratch noises from the bed area. My skin was like chicken meat, I was in point of running away. Even typing this gave me chills. I started to think, what the fuck is in there and what am I going to do? You probably know that feeling when you are alone in the dark taking piss or something, then you start to think, maybe there is someone in the forest and it will catch me. Personally I had alot of this when I was under 12, my mind is a wild thing. Well I took my LED lamp, pointed it to the direction of the sound... ... ... a fucking squirrel, it was searching for food, looking at me moving it's chin. I was relieved in that point. I didn't think much more so I just got away fast as I could. At outside there was wonderful nature, all birds singing, couple people on a run. Behind me was a one creepy experience. That was my first, but it wont be last.
So I am looking on Google maps for places near my home, to see if I want to Ubex them. I am finding mainly abandoned Oil Wells. Does anyone have any advice whether or Not I should check them out.?

But what do you mean with Oil Wells? Do you mean the pumps, station or the holes where the pipes goes? If you are planning to climb, you should check that the structures are in good shape and they don't swing, detach or are slippery, Rope is always a good thing to have especially when climbing high. You should always watch out for sharp objects to prevent getting stuck or stab'd. But I don't think there is anything to watch out at these except the pipes where the oil goes, If you are meaning these things in the link. There is this super creepy house near where I live that is straight out of some horror movie. I've been there only once before. From the look of it, a bunch of drug addicts live or lived there. There was a room on the ground floor that had been cleared out and had a bunch of beds set up. The kitchen had been used recently, and some food still fresh and packaged was out on the table. There is a trap door to the basement, with a ladder leading down into it. We lit it up with a flashlight, and it looked scary as hell down there. It seemed like some kind of torture chamber. Going up the stairs to the top floor, there was a door at the top of the stairs, but it was mostly blocked by some wooden planks nailed to the door frame. It looked like it had been opened recently, and you could still squeeze in through, but we suspected that to be a possible place for the people to be hiding out in during our visit there. The basement though, that shit was fucked. None of us had the balls to go down there. And we didn't even see the whole entirety of it either.
There is nothing worth looking at where I live, most abandoned places around were demolished and cleared. The closest thing to explore is a few buildings in a crowded city, about 2 hours drive away.
In my old neighborhood (which was a trailer park) there was an abandoned trailer, and in one of the rooms, there was blood staining the carpets. (We also found a ton of porno magazines, and I was 6, so the rest is history.)
