The CGI looked pretty good, it was just the editing that pissed me off. THe roof shots were at the wrong angle to the shots of the characters, and the shadows on their faces were bright green. Apart from that it was amazing
That was awesome.
As is tradition, the protagonist finally catches on to what the audience realised twenty minutes ago. Is the ginger woman going to be the new companion? Because she can't act.
Wow. An alien transmitting warning of the destruction of Earth. Never seen that before.
Whoa, industrial!
OH MY GOD SHE'S LOCKED HIS TIE IN A CAR DOOR HOWEVER WILL HE COPE TIES ARE UN-TAKEOFFABLE
WAIT A GODDAMN MINUTE HERE He's a time-traveller. If he sleeps in he can just travel back and sort it out.
"I'm going to send this virus to you computers." Because that's not going to cause problems.
"Duck!" (Ladder crashes through window 8 inches to the left of them)
And this all happened in under twenty minutes?
I'm sorry, when did Robert Burns join the writing team?
How come every alien knows about these horrible future disasters apart from the Doctor? Did he quit the union or something?
7 billion.
Tweed jacket, leather patches. He's a Doctor, not a teacher.
Somehow that scene has managed to erase from my mind the ability to tie a tie.
So the TARDIS can refurbish its exterior but not change it? That seems... loopholey
Aaaaaaand we completely mess up the entire timeline. I EAT TEMPORAL PARADOXES FOR BREAKFAST
WAIT STOP TO PICK UP JEFF
Did he... Did he just hold her out INTO THE VACUUM OF SPACE?
SPACE SPITFIRES GOD Tom Rudd Ugh, they go pew pew.
Just watched the Confidential episode. It was just as awesome as the actual episode.

Though I wasn't really a fan of the new Confidential music.
And is it me or are clip montages happening more often in Confidential eps these days
What was the round sticker on the Tardis's right door?
I thought the central piston looked like a dildo, too. Thought it was just me.

To be fair, its worth bringing back up again.
lol how could it take you by surprise it was so obvious,
I thought that was her aunt at first, and that Amelia had been taken by Prisoner Zero
You know, in the Doctor Who movie, the doctor mentions he only has 13 lives.
He was no David Tennant, but I enjoyed the episode. He grows on you!

I hope you don't have any friends on Facebook, because I'd be very embarassed if I'd written that and someone I knew read it.
Damn, I just watched it on Youtube while in America, weeks early. Thank God for Youtube.
Anyways, that was... fucking awesome. Just too many awesome moments, especially [sp]the bit with all the Doctors in the hologram.[/sp] That was just amazing. Smith looks to actually be my favorite Doctor thus far if he keeps up with the writing and the writing stays that way. He seems like a near-perfect culmination of the Doctors so far, at least to me.
Also, I love that apparent new theme or however you would describe it, just feels perfect for the Doctor. Just hope it doesn't get overused.
I HATE the new theme. I have the old one on my iPod. However, I thoroughly enjoyed smith. He grows on you, and amelia seems like a very well developed character so far. A good bit of setup. Can't wait till the next episode. Was I the only one that liked Davies stories? I worry we'll never see jack again.
No Jack? Shit. Jack was awesome.
And I don't mean the start theme, the new one is shit. I mean that one that's in most of the trailers and pops up whenever the Doctor is being awesome.
Agreed. Also, I now REALLY want a bowtie.

I'm actually quite interested to see how Jack reacts to the new doctor.

Moffat said no past characters this series (minus River Song) but put the idea across we will probably in the series after. He mentioned Captain Jack in an interview saying especially to the younger ones it would be nice to bring him back for them.
Yeah he says Jack may be the only character he is interested in bringing back but only if Jack is needed. He isn't going to write a story just to bring Jack back, their has to be a need for Jack.
For 45 minutes Smith was still Tennnat. Doing Tennant things, in Tennant ways.
Then suddenly "WHO DA MAN" and he B-lines into the clothing room. And steals some clothes. Then he steps on to the roof and shouts "THE DOCTOR WILL SEE YOU NOW". And I'm thinking "God this is getting real good". And then he steps though the Tennant Hologram in his full suit. Best part.
"I'm the Doctor. Basically. Run!"
From that point on he was a new Doctor. The regeneration was complete and I LOVED it.
I hope Matt stays for longer than Tennnat.
Heck.
Longer than Tom Baker.
I expect a ratings drop but that's a good thing, because it's fans of tennant being put off not Doctor Who fans. In fact classic fans have returned to the show for the first time since 2005. Also his first episode may have been an awesome episode but it was poorly directed. Camera angles, lighting and the ladder. It was all terribly handled by the director.
But I love Smith. I love this series. I love Doctor Who.
And after listening to the theme tune 20 times. I love that too.
Also the other song you guys like is the "Eleventh Doctor Theme". It's awesome.
Hrm, after listening to it without effects and better quality, the new opening theme is alright. A bit more classic, though the older one sounded a bit more... Doctor-like, I suppose. Not that it matters; it's just the opener, and it sounds fine, so whatever.

Nevermind, yay for 500 fan videos of it. Listening to the REAL one, it actually is alright, if not a bit rock-ified. I like it.

You mean, they're bringing Captain Jack back for the kids? Wouldn't he try and have sex with them? :gonk:

No he'd try to hook them up to a radio system and melt their brain with sonic waves.

The intro they're using would have seemed really cheesy five years ago. But now it's kickin retro

Holy shit. This is what soldiers SHOULD be doing.
they should play that while marching into Baghdad while blowing everything up.

Uh, Baghdad is on our side
I still hope the master comes back again, and I want to see the Doctor uppercut Davros
The Master needs to be played by Sir Patrick Stewart.
That was a great episode, i was quite shocked that i like it.
