Yep. The first Doctor had it
The ratings are in! Eight million average viewers and an audience share of 36.9%. The most-watched program of the night by a margin of 2.5 million.
So now that the tardis was reformed, it put the sticker back on because it needed to fix it's disguise again.
So now that the tardis was reformed, it put the sticker back on because it needed to fix it's disguise again.
I noticed the outside had a fresh paint job as well, and the grain of the wood was really pronounced. I thought it was a nice touch. Watched the first ep of season 5. Very good. The "coming soon" at the end was hilarious, [sp]spitfires in space?[/sp]
The St. John's sign was on the TARDIS the first time it was shown I believe. It's been gone since.
I only watched the Tom Baker ones and that was ages ago. :v: I have a VHS box set to do with Cybermen, only 10,000 were made according to a sticker on it. :v:
I have read a few things saying that the end of season baddie will be in every episode this season, is there any source confirming it? From the ones I read it was going on about RTD so I am unsure how much I should trust them. If it is true I may have to rewatch the episode a few times to see it, my bet is either the TARDIS, Key, Apple or Fire Engine!

It's Prisoner Zero. Prisoner Zero escaped and the aliens were too afraid of The Doctor to go after him. And when Prisoner zero eventually gets complete control of the TARDIS shit goes down. It uses it to bring back the Daleks, Cybermen, Angels, Sontarans, some new foes, some more from the classic series that haven't been seen in new who before and it turns into a huge battlefield[/sp]

indeed. I REALLY doubt that they would leak that kind of info.
It feels like Doctor Who has grown up with me. When it started back in 2005 I was ten - pretty much the perfect audience for Russell T. Davies' version of the show. The years went on and I grew up and by the time the specials rolled around Davies' methods were beginning to wear thin. But lo and behold he buggered off and Stephen Moffat showed up and reinvented Doctor Who into a more mature yet still family-friendly show. I like the writing, I like the direction, I especially like what they've done with the colours of the show. They've darkened it or something, I don't know. Maybe they're using more sophisticated cameras. It looks a lot less like a sci-fi and a lot more like a big grown-up BBC drama. Compare these images and you'll see what I mean. I really liked the first episode, I think Matt Smith will be a good change.
Source?
It's all over Gallifrey Base the biggest Doctor Who forum. Smith and Moff have both hinted that 1) Not everything is as it seems 2) Don't accept everything that happens in episode one 3)Somebody said that Prisoner Zero DOES come back. And the other aliens I mentioned have all been seen filming in the same episode. I can't trace the leak to it's origin but it's probably the same source that said Daleks would be in the series 2 finale. The Master would be in a three parter at the end. Davros and a red Dalek appear and The Master and time-lords would be back in the end of time. So far the source has got everything right. It must drive Moff mad. So when is this set? + Rorys ID card say he was issued his nurses care in 1990. Which is a huge problem because he would need to be 18 in 1990 to get one of those. + On set reports say young-Amy was set in 1996. Meaning Rory was 18 when Amy was 8? And they hung out? And he fancied her? Ew. Obviously the opening CAN'T be set in 1996 or the card couldn't have been issued in 1990 + Doctor mentions Twitter and Facebook. Twitter wasn't popular untill late 2008 and the phone Rory uses is a model from 2008. So that would mean 12 years ago young Amy would have been in 1996. + Add two on to that and that means Amy was picked up in 2010 So we could ignore Rory's card to make it make sense. But at the start The Doctor is flying through London. The London eye is seen but didn't exist in 1996. So did the Doctor manage to climb into his burning Tardis and instead of trying to fix it he went back in time to 1996? Ah Doctor Who, in the seventies you always had a hilarious problem with dates. Or was that the 80's?
You're really trying to understand continuity in a series that explains the progression of time "not as a straight line, but a big ball, of wibbly wobbly, timey-wimey, stuff"? You're better off just sitting back and enjoying the ride. :v:
Had to be the best part of the episode
Has anybody else watched this more than once? Last time I did that with an episode was Utopia. And I saw End Of Time twice as it was on and I was too ill to get rid of it. Watched it twice and the last 20 mins several times.

I've watched different parts of it a few times now. I just can't wait for next weeks episode, hope the show keeps up to the same standards as the first episode. There are just so many little lines that he says throughout the episode that I love. :v: Like this part too:
