Oh shit I forgot about the cracks. I saw the crack at the end and thought whut
That whale is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge
Reminds me of Diskworld.
Holy shit, I thought they weren't going to show the whale, but...wow.
The Smilers creep me out :tinfoil:

One of the bad guys was the demon headhaster. He has not aged AT ALL.

They need to stop doing things like that imo. Getting a bit old.
No, no.
Goes like this:

:eng101:
Kind of reminded me a bit of 'The Long Game' from the first series.
Wait one minute.
The Smilers have three faces, but from the look of it they have one face on the back of the head and one face on the front of the head. How does that work?
< Love those smilers.
BAD BOY TIMMY... ZERO
Can't wait for next week, fucking Winston Churchill and the Doctor. Awesome.

that's sort of the point; it's impossible
Hang on did we ever find out WTF the Smilers were for?

Similar to how they self-repair: probably using nanites to alter their happy face when they're frowning.
Hang on did we ever find out WTF the Smilers were for?
Probably for throwing people down into the whale.

But then why do they even need to turn their heads? :saddowns:
anyone know when or if it will ever work on iplayer?
But then why do they even need to turn their heads? :saddowns:
Just because it makes it more creepy. :v:
Hang on, when were they ever called Smilers before Amy called them that?
And, if it was in the 29thC as the Doctor said, why does it say that Amy is 1300-odd?
Just because it makes it more creepy. :v:
Acceptable :buddy:
If I knew how to, I'd make my avatar a gif of a smiler head that rotates every 2 seconds :saddowns:
Does anybody know a good uk proxy site?
I live in the US.:saddowns:

I was thinking that, I saw some speculation about the eleventh hour too about Rory's badge

(Notice the issue date)
Some people saying that it's to do with the cracks. Possibly effecting time? It's interesting anyway.

Maybe 29th century was just when they left the Earth, not when that episode was set?

Well if it was the 29th century she'd... waiiiitt a minute.
It's atleast 300 years off. So it's a sign...

Actually that sounds like it might be right, still though, I like to speculate. :v:
Whats the problem with the issue date? 30th Nov 1990. I don't see how it's relevant, unless I'm missing something.

Most of the episode happens in 2008, as the night before Amy's wedding is in 2010.
Rory would have to be about 38 years old, at least.
It makes him like 10 years older than Amy.
It means he must have started working at the hospital in 1990, so he'd probably have to be at least in his late 30's if that's true, and he doesn't look that old.
