http://gallifreynewsbase.blogspot.com/2010/04/beast-below-ratings.html The ratings are in. 6.7 million viewers. A notable drop from last week but still the most-watched program of the night. I reckon if they put it on at 7 or 7.30 you'd see that number rise significantly.
I can back your theory because I actually missed the episode because I didn't realise it was on so early. I realised it was on halfway through then thought "fuck it" because there was no point starting halfway through with no idea what was going on. I just watched it on the iplayer. What the fuck was the BBC thinking, pushing it earlier in the schedule?
It's on at like quarter-to-eight or something next week, cud b cool.
And she's his (future) wife, right?
Companion. but it's suggested their were some feelings involved. I predict a second drop next week to 6.5 all round (Bother BBC1 and HD) and then I expect it to even out around that number with the occasional increase and decrease for the rest of the series.
I think the question of Amy's marriage will play a key part in the finale of this season.
I need to change from a firefly avatar to a Doctor Who one, I love Firefly but Doctor Who fucking rocks.
I think the question of Amy's marriage will play a key part in the finale of this season.
Well, Rory is supposed to be joining the crew later in the series (vampires in Venice (I think)), so that will surely bring it up.
can someone get me an avatar of him and his bowie saying bow ties are cool also new ep was sad
can someone get me an avatar of him and his bowie saying bow ties are cool also new ep was sad
There was one already made
I hope the new companion will stay for a few series, she is hot and an awesome companion
Hope it isn't a "deja vu" of what happened to Rose in the end of season 2.
I am pretty sure that Amy will be staying for more than one season, because a game is being released which has been mentioned, long after the season finishes, with her in it.
It was already confirmed that both actors have already been contracted for a second series. (Doctor Who Confidential 5x02, "All about the girl")
I am pretty sure that Amy will be staying for more than one season, because a game is being released which has been mentioned, long after the season finishes, with her in it.
Originally she was cast for one series but I would like the same Doctor and companion to have more than one series together, but mostly the companion like Rose did.
I think we should get another companion in addition to Amy.
I think we should get another companion in addition to Amy.
We probably will in Rory or River Song. Possibly even see Captain Jack in the next series.
We probably will in Rory or River Song. But, it will be interesting to see what he's up to if they decide to have him back.
Wasn't everyone saying the new Doctor would be shit?
Wasn't everyone saying the new Doctor would be shit?
Everyone said that with Eccleson.
Wasn't everyone saying the new Doctor would be shit?
It was bound to happen, especially with the hordes of fan girls who only watch because they want to fuck David Tennant.
David Tennant is rather attractive though. (I'm not gay or anything.)

But when the Doctor saw him at that alien bar, kind of hints he knows roughly where he is or there's still a link.
Wasn't everyone saying the new Doctor would be shit?
I never did, been used to regeneration since 7 to 8. I heard that a lot of young children under 8 haven't been able to get into the new series. Which is a shame. Also a lot of women have left the series. But I <3 The New Doctor.
Dunno if you guys have noticed but we've never had a series without someone joining or leaving the cast. Series 1 9th Doctor left Series 2 10th Doctor joined and Rose left Series 3 Martha joined and left Series 4 Donna joined and left Specials Everyone left Series 6 11th Doctor and Amy joined Series 7 will be our first chance for a stable series.

Can see Rory coming back and getting killed off.
Yeah, the latest episode was pretty shit. And I'm starting to slightly dislike Matt, he doesn't seem to have the same spark that the previous two doctors have had... It sounds too much like he's just reading from a script and acting out the actions with the least amount of energy he can get away with. And this episode was pretty badly written. Ah well, Winston Churchill and Daleks next, should be pretty awesome.
The latest episode was pretty good, but i think they showed the Doctors Aggresive side a bit too soon.
The new doctor looks like a fag.
The new doctor looks like a fag.
You probably said this about Tennant as well. [editline]01:12PM[/editline]
The latest episode was pretty good, but i think they showed the Doctors Aggresive side a bit too soon.
I don't think they so much showed as they hinted at his darker side. And I like that. It fits the series well, as it's moved in a bit of a darker direction, and this helps show that the Doctor isn't just smiles and TARDIS adventures, he's got real emotions. Yeah, Tennant's Doctor showed emotions towards Rose, but that was something different than what Smith is doing.
