I don't think they so much showed as they hinted at his darker side. And I like that. It fits the series well, as it's moved in a bit of a darker direction, and this helps show that the Doctor isn't just smiles and TARDIS adventures, he's got real emotions.
Note how he tried to quickly move on from Amy finding out how he was the last time lord?

But I've heard that they're bringing the Rani back this series or next series. If she comes back and has a TARDIS, I will be really excited.

The Master is a Hunter.
Does anyone remember "The Library" for David Tennant? Remember the black woman? The one with a Sonic screwdriver as well? Now, look at her, and look at the Queen in the Episode that's just gone past. I think they will meet again :v:

Having watched The Beast Below again I have realised Liz 10 is one of the MI6 workers in the film Stormbreaker :D

That fookin spinny head teacher scared the piss out of me :(
I think they're supposed to be like judges as opposed to teachers. The one at the start seemed to just be analyzing their test results from the class. There seemed to be at least one in every room anyway. Since they judge whether you're a good enough citizen and all that lark.

Only recently they remembered The Rani was the worst villain in the whole of Who. And the time war. Smiths Doctor seems to just not like to talk about it instead of crying.
I must say, that Doctor Who is one of the most addictive series I've ever watched x) :smug:
Doctor Who has a strange ability of being able to make things creepy as fuck. Like the spinning heads in this one and the "corner of your eye" thing in the previous ep, not to mention the "blink and you die" monsters in the previous season.

God. I love Doctor Who. I couldn't give the biggest shit how my friends say its nerdy i fucking love it
It is the most fantasticly brilliant show I have ever watched.
Only recently they remembered The Rani was the worst villain in the whole of Who.
I think the Absorbaloff (or however it's spelled) has taken that title away.
I think the Absorbaloff (or however it's spelled) has taken that title away.
Wasn't that created by a kid for some contest? If I'm right, I'd have to say that the kid who thought it up is pretty damn creative.
The kid wanted it to be enormous. what we got was peter kay in a green fatsuit
One thing I never liked about Dr. Who is how he just steals woman away. I mean imagine being Rory or Mickey for a moment, and realize how bullshit that situation is. Would hate to have that happen to me :( But I do love the series, 'tis pimpin'.
I've stopped watching doctor who since David Tennant left :/
I've stopped watching doctor who since David Tennant left :/
Why? I thought Tennant was great, but the new doctor is awesome. :buddy: Got to give him a chance at least.
I've stopped watching doctor who since David Tennant left :/
You're seriously missing out.
I think I may have found another recurring theme... The kid in this episode got a zero in his test and was sent to floor zero. In the previous episode prisoner zero escaped and the Doctor reset all the clocks in the world to zero. Am I going mad (or am I just late?).
I've stopped watching doctor who since David Tennant left :/
The new doctor is pretty good so far Not as good as Tennant but give him a chance
