I really don't like the new daleks. The eyestalk is too complex, the black band where the weapons are is too thick and bulky, and the skirt is way too big. They remind me of the fugly peter cushing movie daleks. I hope these are just special one off ones for this episode, like the red dalek supreme.

I'm finding it hard to fight the urge to rewatch those two episodes...

Just watched The Beast Below, the "GERONIMO!" scene is my favourite, otherwise plot didn't seem to make sense, but eh. And is it me or does Winston Churchill here look fatter than he was in real life?

so I watched the first 2 episodes last night on iplayer and I really really enjoyed it, I've never been into it before... the only other episode I really enjoyed was Blink. It's good though, Im gonna get into it. It's mainly because the new sidekick is so "PHWOAR!" though.

Good God I am enjoying this. I really enjoy Moffat's style, and if anyone's interested, you should go see his other stuff. Coupling is a much lighter comedy, or you can watch Jekyll, which is quite dark, but brilliant.

I love how the other week the LOST thread had double the posts and views of this, now we're getting so close :D

I like Lost but for me Dr. Who will always come first (mainly because it is British!).

What I didn't get is, if they were perfectly capable of catching a giant fucking Space Whale and tying it to a giant country-space-ship, why on earth couldn't they come up with something like an engine?

Well... If it was the swedish they were talking about, that wouldn't surprise me.

I thought the Russell T. Davies Daleks were spot-on exactly what a Dalek should look like.

Besdies, they were probably suffering money/production problems, like there not being enough material to build an engine from spending so much on a ship, or there not being enough time to build an engine due to the solar flares...

Is the Classic Dr. Who series worth watching? I enjoyed the last 4 seasons and the special 2009 episodes, the 2 seasons of torchwood and currently watching K9. So tell me facepunch, will I like the classic series? I don't give a shit about black and white, special effects, etc. I just wanna know, is it GOOD?
