IIRC, they were built using cheap parts. Like a toilet plunger for instance.
I really dont like the black skirt thing.
Way too big, almost identical to the ugly peter cushing daleks.
And the band where the weapons are is huuuuge, the gun is really long and the plunger is really short.

Really though, did the daleks need a redesign? Ok they could use some different colours, the gold is starting to get old.

Also I think we should give the new daleks a chance, perhaps their new design will grow on us and since that bar is added there is a possibility for an extra weapon/tool.
The new eyestalk also look pretty damn cool with the red.

Not available in my area, what the christ bbc I live near Cambridge. But yeah, I actually like the new daleks, they look good, nice and retro. More like what I used to watch on old video's when I was little.
Edit: Actually they don't look like the old ones even :v:, I think the re-design is to fit with the era the episode is set in.

I used to want Tory to win the elections but recently it dawned on me, if the win, the remove licesne fees.
Without license fees BBC would NEVER make as much money as it had in the past. They will NEVER be able to run so many high budget shows and many will be cancelled. Others will recieve HUGE budget cuts. Doctor Who with a budget cut. It would be a cheap episode every week apart from the finale which could cobble together enough budget to have something that looks as good in quality as Prisoner Zero. And naturally it would loose viewers. I would honestly cry in Doctor Who was cancelled.

although when I look at it in paint, the patterns seem different to how they look in chrome.

I liked how you dressed your doctor alot. The face didn't look to Matt though, not like mind did.
So I kinda traced his face and then edited to match the style. Also I have evolved the style a bit, big heads.
Maybe too big?
Also I'm still working on it but I changed the console a bit. But I changed the clothes too look a bit more like yours, more colour.

Yes Matts legs look too skinny. Need to redo that. But it beats what ever the fuck I used in my first try. Right, I might leave this a few days/weeks, lots of work to do. If anybody else wants to do it instead be my guest.
God, looking at again, my Smith looks like Salad Fingers. I think I like yours more.
If you do it in MS paint, pick the pencil, fattest line thickness is for outlines, everything less is for details.
Looks like you used the brush one, it's a pain in the arse to use the fill tool after that.
