The game is set in 1963 and has Daleks. IT'S AN ALTERNATE FUTURE WHERE THE FIRST DOCTOR/SEVENTH DOCTOR FAILED IN COAL HILL SCHOOL, I CALLED IT FIRST.
The Professor guy didn't invent them, the Daleks used him as cover so they could infiltrate the Government.
The cracks are causing time's canonicity and regularity to warp outta shape, probably meaning that multiple timelines are intertwining with each other...
Episode was okay, felt like it was lacking something though.
Also, for those that can't quite get their head around the whole bomb dude making them, Three daleks survived in a battered ship, created an android(?) to have a reason for more of them to exist (or for them to seem plausable to Winston).
As for Amy not remembering the Daleks, she should seeing as they pretty much [B]stole the entire planet.[/B]
Next episode looks like it'll be good though.

Not sure how I felt about the episode there. Half the time I couldn't really hear what was being said, and as such, seemed a bit rushed.
Also, the "You can feel emotions so don't explode!"... Eh.
Next episode really does look like it's going to be awesome.

It's also a cunning plan so that the writers don't have to keep checking if their work interferes with pre-established canon.

The Doctor mentions Twitter in the first episode, meaning that it had to be 2008 or later. Then she is picked up 2 years after that, putting the date at 2010 or later.
She should remember.
(Twitter was around since 2006, but only really gained popularity in 2008. If it was set pre-popular there would have been no point in him mentioning it and he should have said myspace or something)
She should have also seen the news broadcasts of Daleks above london from the finale of Season 2, and also the Cybermen in the streets. If she doesn't remember the Cybermen in their upcoming episode it's confirmed that either she's from an alternate universe or the timeywimey ball is causing everyone to forget.

Oh I am sorry for saying my opinon, no need to be such a dick about it all but whatever. I do think the new design is more imposing/scary, the other ones looked like toys. Yeah the colours are annoying, but if they made them all the same colour like they are supposed to, and be neutral it would look alot better. They are also taller.
