Either Amy or the TARDIS is causing the crack. So that means that one of them could be [sp]Prisoner Zero[/sp]. It would make sense if Amy was, because it would then explain her now remembering.
Your chance to become the Doctor (said at the end) does that mean he is going after this series? Also pretty good episode
He meant you can play the future game and 'be the doctor'...
More cracks in this series then a plumbers convention.

Such as the 2 years in between the Atraxi leaving and the Doctor returning.
They killed him...
Then why is the crack still showing up?

Something is up with her, we never hear anything about her parents and we never see her aunt (I don't think it was that old women from the first episode) Her nurse friend also has a badge saying he was a registered nurse in 1990, so he would have been at least 18 then, and it's set sometime after 2008 as twitter and facebook are mentioned, which would make him nearly 40, he doesn't look that old, and plus he said he played with Amy when there were kids, making them the same sort of age. I think someone also said on the space whale her age was listed a few hundred years off what it should be.[/sp] Spoiler tagged incase people haven't seen the episodes yet.
Who said it has to be Amy. Everyone is overlooking the fact that it might be an outside source. Amy might be in shock and forgotten about the daleks due to them killing her parents.
(I wrote a longer thing but there was an error) I think the new series is in another dimension, the Tardis possibly fell through when it was damaged. I've noticed that Amy doesn't remember the masses of invasions and at the start of the first episode the Tardis flew over the Millenium Dome, showing it was present day, and then nearly hit Big Ben, which was destroyed by the crashing decoy ship in the Ecclestone series. Not to mention the historical changes during WW2 which would have been mentioned before. (Haven't finished watching the new episode though.)
I think he fell into the Parallel world (I don't mean Rose coming back) and the crack is what he made because you heard the Daleks 'fell through time'? What if they did the same what the Doctor did? Also we see the [SP]Cybermen[/SP] return so that is possible? But it has been rumoured in the finale that there is [SP] a three way battle between the Cybermen, Daleks + Sontarans so the crack could be a gap in the void?[/SP] On the other hand, I remember the Doctor saying in the Series 4 finale that the Parallel world is way ahead of the current one.. This story arc could surprise everyone.

The daleks that is.
Crap damnit I completely forgot this was on today. Is it on the iplayer?
Yes
Hmm. I like the new Daleks colours. The crack is starting to get slightly interesting on an annoying level.
I liked the episode... Although it had so many star wars references I don't think I got them all. The music when the spitfires were attacking the dalek ship was amazingly similar to the Star Wars music, the way the good lazers were red and the bad lazers were green (even though in previous episodes I'm pretty sure the dalek lazers were blue, like their weapons), the way the scientist bloke got his hand cut off and replaced with a black hand, when they went to confront him and he turned around with an "I've been expecting you"... I'm probably looking into it a bit too much, but hey :v:
v.good ep
Sweet, I just found it online. And just so people know, [sp]SPOILER TAGS!!![/sp]
Brilliant episode. Though I saw it all coming. DEAD excited for this episode. [editline]11:13PM[/editline]
Sweet, I just found it online. And just so people know, [sp]SPOILER TAGS!!![/sp]
The episode was on nearly 6 hours ago. It would be spoilers if it was on in 6 hours. Tips to avoid spoilers Don't go online [editline]11:16PM[/editline] "NEW DAAAAALEK AIN'T SCARY" Implying they were scary? Pull your head out of your arse.
Were there two zeros in this ep?
New ep was brilliant. Digging the new Daleks.
Brilliant
Were there two zeros in this ep?
There were 3 "inferior" Daleks. 2 of which had the khaki paint.
I like the way the inferior Daleks just accepted their demise. It shows how absolutely fanatical the Daleks really are.
Awesome ep, Cant wait till next week.
What we need is moff to write a REALLY scary episode for these Daleks. These Daleks, in the Dark, moving towards The Doctor and Amy slowly, as the Doctor struggles to open a locked door. As he is coming towards The Doctor the Dalek must be saying something both epic, and disturbing. "The great Time Lord is trapped. By a Dalek. What exactly are you lord of Doctor? You have no people. No friends. Nothing is left. WE NOW REIGN SUPREME. How does it feel Doctor. Now YOU cower in the dark. Trapped and alone. LIKE A DALEK. The Daleks have been trapped for TOO LONG. Pushed down by the universe. Reduced to stories. WE ARE NOT A STORY. We are the master race, We are GODS of the universe, we should be marvelled, we are superior. EVERY LIVING BEING SHALL TREMBLE AS YOU ARE NOW. THEY SHALL FEAR THE DALEKS. THEY SHALL BEG THE DALEKS FOR MERCY. AND WE SHALL EXTERMINATE EVERYTHING. EVERY BEING, EVERY PLANT, EVERY PLANET. EVERY CHILD. WE ARE DALEK. AND YOU SHALL BE. EXTERMINATED" Good speeches made The Ood and The Beast scary.
How could the professer instantly create the gravity bubble, even if he is dalek technology? Why was he allowed to live and escape? How could thinking "human" thoughts stop him from exploding? The new series seems to have quite a few unexplained things (such as what did the star whale normally eat and what did they feed him on after he was freed? Who were Amy's parents and what happened to her aunt - in fact did she ever have an aunt since we haven't yet seen her?) I'm hoping these will be explained in some clever way and that it isn't just bad writing.

Dalek voice (a deeper one, like the Supreme's voice) to it in my head!
the way the scientist bloke got his hand cut off and replaced with a black hand,
I thought of that more as a strangelove reference.
How could the professer instantly create the gravity bubble, even if he is dalek technology?
He mentioned at a point in the episode that he came up with the Dalek tech and the air bubble tech before.
Why was he allowed to live and escape? How could thinking "human" thoughts stop him from exploding?
Why not? He's not active anymore, no Dalek ship to fix him either. Also I guess the "think human be human" comes from the same logic "think ill be ill". "Think happy thoughts be happy". "Tell yourself you're brave, become brave". It works.
such as what did the star whale normally eat and what did they feed him on after he was freed?
I guess the humans couldn't figure out what it ate before either. They didn't just send humans, their was all sorts of stuff on the tongue coming from various food pipes.
Who were Amy's parents and what happened to her aunt - in fact did she ever have an aunt since we haven't yet seen her?) next weeks episode is going to be epic
Smith seems more emotional about the Daleks. A LOT more emotional. Like, when he's hitting one of the inferior ones with the wrench, it felt like they were his enemy. As a comparison to Tennant being slightly shocked, but then fixing the issue of the Daleks being there. I really hope they don't just kill these Daleks off this season and then have them return in some odd way later on. If they could re-establish themselves on a planet (New Skaro, eh?) and rebuild their race, it would be cool. I really want a full explanation of the Time War, too. It feels like it was a magical plot device to remove the Time Lords and Daleks from the picture originally. And if the Daleks continue to survive, why can't some of the Time Lords aside from the Master? Doesn't the Doctor have all the information for the Time Lords stored in his TARDIS' Matrix? If the Daleks re-establish themselves, maybe he'll restore the Time Lords to help him this time? Just tossing ideas out, though.
