This episode was significantly more boring than the other ones.
But seeing it's a two parter, the second part will most likely be better.
So the angels turn to stone when you see them, does that mean when your not looking at them you can just shoot them?
I guess, when you cannot see them, they are flesh and bone, but move extremely fast, they could be a mile away, you blink, then they are right in front of you.
So, it would be rather hard or even impossible to hit one.
Can't wait to see how you would actually KILL a weeping Angel.
Take a sledgehammer to it when it's a statue.

It'd be so damn scary, trying not to blink and having to concentrate on them until you can kill them.
One thing I really don't get, is it's supposed to be like the 51st Century, yet people are all still wearing similar clothes, using guns which shoot bullets (I want a laser ray bitch) and using technology which just seems so 21st century. I understand budget limits and stuff but come on :v:.
But yeah, brilliant episode.
Why the fuck did the BBC think it was a good idea to plaster Graham Norton all over the screen during the last minute. That ruined the end of the episode for me.
A friend showed the new episodes and a couple of the Tennant episodes as well. While Blink had me shitting bricks, this just isn't as scary, sort of how Alien was scary, but Aliens was more action-ey. Anyway, I have to watch this more.
This was exactly what Moffat had in mind. He said outright that the difference between Blink and Time of Angels/Flesh and Stone would be the same as the difference between Alien and Aliens.

I sent a complaint in to the BBC. I feel so English.

Also if you buy a copy of the Daily Telegraph this week you can get a free audiobook of Doctor Who.
Anyone else hear/see Iain Glen in the preview for next episode?
I called it! That guy has an eerie voice.
Hang on, what happens if you just smash them when they are stone?
Anyone else here think that the "Next Time" preview for the next episode showed a bit too much?
I want Davis to come back to do some scripts
The angels episode wasen't bad though, i don't think they should of used British Desert DRM's...

The muzzle flash will light them up as you shoot them.

Emailed the BBC1 controller.
Awesome episode. Although the stupid advert near the end that popped up at the bottom of the screen was really distracting.
Fucking Graham Norton.
The Graham Norton thing didn't happen on BBC HD so I don't know what it was like :(
[sp]That's what the Father and assorted clerics seemed to be doing in the trailer for the next one -- as the lights went off, they fired their guns at them.[/sp]
Actually, I think they're doing it to keep light. The flashlights went out, so I thought they we're doing it to keep some light.
But that's just my own thought, I guess we'll find out next saturday.
Simon Pegg on Twitter:
"Congrats to the BBC for ruining the climax to Doctor Who with a cartoon Graham Norton telling about another f**king talent show."
Charlie Brooker on Twitter:
"Why don't the BBC just wipe shit all over the screen during the final scene of Dr. Who next week?"
"I hope Moffat is bellowing down a phone to someone right now."
Well Mr. Brooker, apparently, Moffat literally exploded with rage. And Moffat doesn't look like the type of guy you want to make mad.

Also, I'm guessing the crack-arc comes to a conclusion next week. I doubt The Doctor will see it and just think "That's really badly bad. I'll deal with it later. Much later. 9 episodes later"
Like he did with Amy remembering the Daleks.
I actually missed it and watched it on iplayer, free of Graham Norton :smug:
Was one of the better episodes this series. I quite enjoyed it.
And I agree with the whole firing their guns to keep light, though it would only work for as long as they had ammo.
I actually missed it and watched it on iplayer, free of Graham Norton :smug:
I watched it HD, free of Graham Norton, and no more blaring music :smug:
Oh, and it looked GLORIOUS.
So who is River Song? Not a lover, my mum theorises she is one of his future enemies, and that he puts her in prison. But since he has met her several times he isn't as angry towards her.

I'm sure I've seen before was she in a libary episode?
I keep on thinking River is the doctor, I mean, She acts just like him
They meet several times but all in the wrong order, the library episode was in the far future of their relationship where he's given her an updated screwdriver, whereas now is in the past, but she still knows about him.
I'm sure I've seen before was she in a libary episode?
Yeah and she died before we understood her.
This is her past.

New episode was surprisingly creepy.
Namely the crawling angels
River Song is a scary indicator. Whenever she appears shit goes down.
To be honest, the only part I found scary in this episode was when the Angel was moving through the screen towards Amy.
And then River, what's her deal? She talked about not wanting to go back to prison, so she's obviously done something wrong, but why drag the Doctor into it? And why are they hunting for the angels? And I really hope that the angels do at least one time displacement attack, because those were so cool.
I keep on thinking River is the doctor, I mean, She acts just like him
Then why wouldn't she regenderate when she dies in The Library?
I mean regenerate.
