I think that the ones in 'Blink' didn't because according to the Doctor they were only scavengers, which hints that their "powers" weren't at their full potential
Wasn't it something about them stealing the lives these people would of had?
Pretty sure snapping necks takes less power to do than transporting somebody back in time
Possibly, but the Angels only had to touch the person to send them back in time didn't they?
Wasn't it something about them stealing the lives these people would of had?
Yes, the Angels in 'Blink' were feeding on the potential energy stolen from the lives their victims would have led
The Angel this time had a definate plan to ressurect the army of Angels, the Angels in Blink were just hungry.
It's good I didn't watch this episode at night with the lights out. [editline]05:02PM[/editline] There's one thing I'm not too sure on about the episode. [sp]Is the Bob that's talked to over the radio the Weeping Angel that took his cerebal cortex?[/sp]
I'm guessing that River Song is prisoner Zero... in fact I'd almost be willing to bet money on that. Think about it: She doesn't want to "Go back to Prison" She had never met the doctor before silence in the library as he was "As young as she had ever seen him". This means she had to have met him sometime after that episode, this eliminates time-lords. She didn't have to ask who the new companion was... Sounds suspicious enough to me. Smart money is on prisoner zero, place your bets. And no, you can't unsee it now... hahahahaha!
Thats a nice theory, seeing as she will be in the next one which seems like it will focus on the crack
I thought that the Multiform thing from the first episode of this season was prisoner zero.
im confused about river song she knew how to fly the tardis i would hate if the doctor got married how did she know ancient gallifreyan
im confused about river song she knew how to fly the tardis i would hate if the doctor got married how did she know ancient gallifreyan
It also confuses me too. There are rumors that [SP]Prisoner Zero takes over the tardis to bring different enemies back? [/SP] and River Song knows exactly how to work it so could be.
It doesn't confuse me at all. The Doctor obviously comes to trust her so much that he teaches her these things later in his life (when he knows more about how to fly the TARDIS himself, which he learned from River, self-fulfilling paradox) which is earlier in her life. It makes sense that the Doctor develops a deep level of trust with River if he reveals his real name to her.
*Good theory*
Except i want to throw in a twist where Amy Pond has been altered in some way, which in turn leads to the doctor finding out a big thing at the end of the series.
A good theory I heard from TVTropes: Angels can form from any image of them. So when Sally Sparrow gives the Doctor that folder with the transcript and pictures of the angels...
so, i need a working proxy to watch this. i'm an amerifag and cannot watch it :| [editline]03:22PM[/editline]
It don't confuse me at all. I was thinking about drawing a bunch of pictures of the Weeping Angels in my art book, and change the pages every now and then when no one's looking to creep people out :v:
I have literally no idea what you're trying to say. That post is a mess of contradictions.
You need to study time travel more. He's saying that "Silence in the Library" is the absolute last time River Song ever meets the Doctor, but it's the FIRST time the Doctor has ever met her. In keeping with the current story, the Timelords are all still "Time-locked" in the Time War, so she couldn't possibly have met any other Timelord. Just that she learned from the Doctor at some later point in his life - but early in hers.
River can not be Prisoner Zero. Zero needs to build a link to create the images it becomes. Meaning a real River Song exists. And that is far too complicated for the kiddy-winks to grasp. Also Zero was executed. Also Zero seems to already know about the cracks when it dies. Also we been told a main villain has appeared in every episode. Meaning it must be zero disguised as somebody else. Probably the TARDIS as we already know episode 12 and 13 has a second TARDIS designed by some kid. So The TARDIS has some importance. [editline]06:29PM[/editline] I'm meeting Tom Baker in May. Dreams DO come true :)
How did River get her sonic screwdriver in S4 that looks like a future version of the 10th Doctor's sonic screwdriver, even though it got destroyed...and the new one looks totally different?

It was a specially designed memory core holding Rivers personality and soul. He builds it for her at some point. While he keeps his.

In Doctor Who Magazine Steven gave three answers to three questions without telling us what the questions are. My question is. The Doctor says "We KEEP meeting in the wrong order". So is this the second time the Doctor has met River? And one of Stevens answers fits brilliantly:
"Ah! Ah! But where in the episode does it say it's the second time? No, see, it doesn't. So nyer. In fact, the use of the word "keep" in scene 23 would suggest that it isn't the second time. Yeah, not so smart now, are you? Ha!!"
So, this ISN'T the second time he has met River. He has met her several times before. Just not on-screen.
Perhaps in the next episode he meets her again, before the events of the first episode?
This whole him meeting her when is so confusing

I thought he was saying that it was the first time River had met the Doctor, not vice versa.
