We'd get some silly overdone CG mist thing I think, which is why I'm glad they've not done it. Too much CGI ruins Dr Who I feel.
I don't think they are made of mist. They are probably a silicon based life-form like the one from that had the "The Hand of Fear" in it?
I love "Doctor Who", I have seen every single episode of the new series.

I hope they look like the hand of shame from Krentz and the hand of shame.

But it bugs me to no ends, in series or films like Doctor Who, some things you can't find out or get all your questions answers about certain creatures in the series or things that happened... There is so much left unanswered sometimes!

And the funny thing is, on the 2 parter Flesh and Stone, they pretty much have all of the info in that black book... Not the blue book. The Black book about the weeping angels...

You picture it in your head. You imagine clones popping out of pods, popping out of the ground, popping out of pods on wheels being pushed by other clones, clones popping out of trees, clones popping out of other clones and they all do an AWESOME battle and it's so awesome and brilliant and fantastic and you get all excited and giddy and you love it. Then Episode 2 comes along, and the clone wars is a bunch of meetings in a dark room. That's why we don't explore the Time War, River Song, The Doctors Name or any mystery of Who." Then a few months later during End of Time, RTD makes the mistake of showing us part of the time war, and it's a bunch of meetings. In a dark room. [editline]09:59PM[/editline]
Doctor Who moves to its earliest slot since the series returned, for The Vampires Of Venice with the programme, on 8th May, now confirmed for a start time of 6pm. The earlier spot appears to be to accommodate a longer edition of Over The Rainbow.
Oh great. Thanks BBC. I'm so pleased Over The Rainbow is so important to you that you completely ruin the feel of what has been described as a "Pretty scary episode". Well done. While your at it, why don't you put a cartoon Graham Norton on a cliff hanger an- OH. Nevermind. 6pm? 6-fucking-pm. THE SHOW BEST SUITS 7PM, put this reality bullshit on earlier. Much earlier. This is going to reflect heavily in the ratings. Way to kill a show BBC. Way to kill a show.
I've just ordered some Jelly Baby's online
I liked the Star Wars prequals...

He might if we get some one on one time with him, River Song, and Plot Development.
"Bad day, lots of bad stuff happened"
Yeah, but he hasn't gone into a lot of detail like he did in the last series and such

They're all the god damn same. Pushing one of your best shows back for it is just stupid.
I feel like an army of us should complain to the BBC, get the show on at 7pm, push reality shows back.
I feel like an army of us should complain to the BBC, get the show on at 7pm, push reality shows back.
Why is the time affecting the viewing figures?
Why is the time affecting the viewing figures?
Dr. Who isn't a little kiddy's bedtime 6PM story. And the fact, they displayed that crude cartoon advert on the last episode, was disappointing.
Dr. Who isn't a little kiddy's bedtime 6PM story. So the perfect viewing time is 19:00. 18:00 the kids are still outside playing. To the other person. Also ratings drop as if it's earlier, people aren't indoors to watch it. Especially in the warm weather. Also it's not the time for Who.
As well, most people are eating dinner around 6, or at least they are in the US.
Yep. Noticed a blooper? It's been noted before. Has anybody noticed Matt is a huge continuity error? Between shots he is constantly changing. It's all great he wants to do hand gestures and stuff but wow, calm down Smith. It wasn't so bad in the last episode which is odd considering it was the first filmed. Alex Kingston was needed IMHO. Some fans need her to help them ease into the new series, I didn't. I warmed to the new series instantly. But so far, every time their has been a change, one character has remained (excluding classic Who). Ah Doctor Who <3
That's his "Thing" The 9th had "Fantastic!" For every doomy thing ever. The tenth had that eternal confidence This one has shakiness and spasms like a ten year old on crack. [editline]04:03PM[/editline]
There are now 3 types of Doctor Who fans. The old-timers, who watched from the original series. The 05'ers who started watching when Eccleson came on. The 10'ers, who have just joined. I am an 05'er, but have since watched some of the old serials. Also, about the budget cuts; this series already has a budget cut compared to last year. Maybe it will force the designers to be more creative instead of LOL CGI INSTEAD OF PLOT
I'm an '05er. [editline]04:05PM[/editline]
Looking online, it seems A LOT of people have started watching this show from this series, having never seen the previous doctors. I feel like some sort of pro amongst an army of newbies. God I hope conservatives don't win the election, slashing the license fee will really hurt BBC budget. Without budget we won't get Who. Cameron will kill Who :(
This is why i detest everyone with the name Cameron. especially James Cameron. what a cockhead. he almost let one of his actors drown during a shoot.
You may be the only one.
Deadpool keeps killing those who like the prequals. I do still think the original trilogy is better though.
I think that the ones in 'Blink' didn't because according to the Doctor they were only scavengers, which hints that their "powers" weren't at their full potential
The only reason they killed the soldiers was because they needed their cerebal cortex for communication.
