No, he is half way between two universes. one where he dies, ours, and another universe that has an alternate history that he did not die. Rose bridged a gap between the two and allowed him to be in ours, but be effected by the rules of the other. As he crossed over, he was slowly dieing to help fix the problem of him already being dead.
Why would you get banned on facepunch. I would not use the proxy on facepunch at the same time as BBC.

He's talking about downloading the episode. But where did you get that 2 universes theory from? When Rose absorbed the energy at the heart of the TARDIS she was in control of just one universe, the one she was in.

Because that is the only applicable reason for his existence and the common occurrences of jack having to fix gaps between universes. Once history is written, it can not be reversed in our universe if the event was a major one. And the take over of station 5 by the daleks was.

He doesn't fix gaps between universes, the Cardiff rift simply exists in many of the parallel universes, it is a rift in space and time. It is impossible to exists half in one universe and half in the other because the Doctor closed the walls between the universes, which is why Rose was trapped in the one with her dad in the first place. Rose simply made Jack essential to the universe being able to function, he had a role to play (YANA message) and wasn't allowed to die until that mission was complete. He had to be kept alive so that he could do the many things he did over the course of the show to eventually lead the doctor into the events at the End of Time, seeing as the Bad Wolf rose exterminated the Daleks at station 5 she also made sure that the Doctor was to be there at all other incidences of the Daleks surviving so that he can destroy them.
